Looks like he lowered his shoulder AND head to hit woods and got Woods in the side of his helmet and facemask

I tried earlier. It would probably have to be copied from the full game replay or the condensed version. It's not in the highlights and I've done a bunch of versions of searches but came up empty.

I really don't think the NFL would be giving that heavy of a fine for a good hit. It's not like they didn't actually watch the tape. I could see maybe a placating fine of the regular amount but double?

You have a point. Fine seems a bit high on a close hit. As Spielman kept saying he should have wrapped up to avoid any doubt of the helmet hitting first.

.

He's a repeat offender. This is his third fine this season. There's obviously something wrong with his tackling technique.

I'm pretty sure when he is talking about fines dont get too excited.

They are going all out to get guys to stop dropping their helmets to lean into hits, which is exactly what Exum did. Where he hit him was less important here than what he did to hit him.

Been so many bad hits against our players I actually couldn’t remember the specific one they were talking about. How has the Cooks ones not drawn penalties or fines? Seriously?

Defenders have to understand, refs are not gonna let you deliver a knockout blow to dislodge the ball. There is not only a rule on using your helmet, there's the defenseless receiver rule too. When it happened I thought it was a legit penalty under either/both rules.

It sure seems like Cooks has taken some illegal hits this season. Its almost like these guys are headhunting with him.

Idk if it’s because we are partial because of his concussion history and he’s on our team but it does seem like they have been headhunting for him specifically.
