Frampton is just having a blast in that video...grinning from ear to ear. Surf style rock is a lot of fun. I'll chip in with a little Dick Dale, another pioneer of the genre. Let's go trippin was released in 1961.
Amazingly, this cool track, "Surf Beat" was only released as on the b side of the single "Mr. Peppermint Man" in 1962.
Misirlou is probably considered Dale's signature song. Tarantino's use of it in Pulp Fiction is a great fit. It sets the mood perfectly. "What does Marceles Wallace look like?"

Went to that Collie Buddz concert Thursday night in Cape Canaveral. It was outside on the water and the band KICKED ASS. Great time.
