Al Kooper, who engineered and produced the song and played mellotron on it, says that the guitar solos were rehearsed and memorized note for note and then recorded with one take. He said they were the most disciplined and rehearsed band he ever worked with.
That song is hillarious. I remember laughing at that one back in the day. "I needed a plan so i just reached out and kicked old green teeth right in the knee" lol
I was just reading in Rolling Stone mag about this album. I'm glad they're still giving us art. Phil got arrested and Malcom is not mentally well enough to tour. The third Young brother, Stevie, stepped up and Cliff Williams joined Angus and Brian so the show could go on. AC/DC is just one of my go to bands when its time to turn it to 11. I imagine that life was never boring in the Young household raising those boys.
Good song Prime and reminds me of a shared song connection between Bowie and Queen and also a song that helped a white rapper garner a little fame. I enjoy the interaction between Freddie and the crowd in the live show.
