Nice thread
@bubbaramfan.
Gotta go with GRob. LT is just about up there with QB in terms of difficulty due to seeing the best every week. Six months ago we were crappin our pants about him, ok well I was. The dude is a big deal for this line but he's not the only one stepping it up... Saffold looks great too. He's not playing where he hopefully will play, but the guy is firing the F off in games thus far, getting to the LBs in a hurry and manhandling dudes. He's a far cry better than he was last year, like a different player. Wichmann and Barnes both look better. I mean it's really hard to leave any of these guys out the way they've looked thus far, and Fisher's comment that the "OL will be a strength this year" looks to be prophetic.
RBs same deal. Probably related to the above, which is why I started with OL, but still the position has significantly improved to where they're all playing fast and know wtf they're doing. Green looks great too in a small sample size, right out the gate not looking rookie-ish at all.
TEs. This new TE coach is killin it, that's all I can say. Kendricks actually looks far more natural and relaxed in the pattern and catching passes. And how often does a rookie "get it" as fast as Higbee has? TE is a year 2 impact position. But wait, even the kid Hemingway who had no TE coach in college is starting to come on.
If I had to guess, I'd say that after we see some of Barron in-game he's gonna make the list too. Locking him up was my favorite move this offseason, well right after trading up for Goff. I think Williams grinning like the Cheshire Cat when his name comes up is a great indicator.
Alexander is significantly better and so is Longacre. Maybe Longacre moreso, but he'll probably get less snaps come the season than Mo will.
