The worst loss, by far and no second place even in contention, was losing the NFC conference championship game to Carolina in 2001 at the end of the game when we were down by three points, driving, had the defense on their heels, had time for a couple of plays, and Martz settled for a field goal while running down the clock. Carolina then won the game on the first play in overtime. I would have fired Martz the next day or maybe right after the game.Well this is easy
Best Win - Rams vs Titans in SB
Worst Loss - (I really hate talking about this game - ugh) Rams vs Cheatriots in SB
Now for Second Place
Best Win - Rams vs Cowboys in 1980 (thought they had lost that one for sure) and then the Ferragamo pass to Waddy - didn't see that one coming at all
Or both Tampa Bay wins in the championship game
Worst Loss - Rams vs Vikings in the Rain Game (I really felt we had a SB winner that year)

Right, but you 're talking overtime. We ran out the clock in regulation.Actually the rams were in position to win the game as they were in fg range. Then bulger threw a horrible interception.
The first play after that was the long td to smith.

Right, Carolina's first play in overtime. But I was stupefied at the moment in regulation by Martz running out the clock to take a field goal with the best offense in the NFL on the move and the Carolina D on its last legs. And had I been in charge I would really have fired Martz. It was unforgivable craziness. Martz had great schemes but losing Vermeil (thanks, Bernie and STL press) and putting Martz in charge was the end of that team.Actually the rams were in position to win the game as they were in fg range. Then bulger threw a horrible interception.

Have to agree, the winning the Superbowl vs Titans was the best and losing to NE was the worst.
The worst loss was the superbowl 36 loss. Never even considered they could lose. For it to happen the way it did made it worse. To come back and tie it up, look like the team that had momentum and then let those fuckwits march down the field and win killed me a little inside.
Then 8 years later the Warner led cards did the same thing against the stealers. Fought hard all game to get back into it, got the lead late and couldn't stop those fuckwits from marching down the field and scoring the winning td.
.
Without doubt. I have never seen a replay of that game in full after the loss....I just can't.... too soon.....

I was at that game and here is a sour Colts fan after that thrashing for your enjoyment!hmm I'm not going to include SB appearances - I think my actual favourite win was the 46-9 win over the Colts last year, after years of dire offensive play, Sean McVay unleashed the New LA Rams and I thought something special was going to happen - with regards to losses far too many to count!
