I don't know if we destroy Dallas as we did that year and maybe no Super Bowl appearance without CJ. He has my vote.CJ.
Very short term.
Came in on short notice and gave the team a boost.
Him and Gurley in that Dallas game was beautiful to watch.
Couldn't quite win the big one, but respect for what he did.
Wendell Tucker made some plays on the receiving end of passes from Gabe in 1968 & 1969, then suddenly wasn't producing in 1970. Any old-timers remember him? And know what the deal was with him all the sudden disappearing?
Dante Hall - didn't do much for us but his career was fun to watch
Zac Stacy- I thought he was the future until we upgraded with Gurley.
Not Wendell Tyler, the RB from 1977-82, Wendell Tucker, the flanker 1967-70.He fumbled way too much... and ended up going to the whiners.

Easy mistake. I do wonder why Tucker went from being a legit playmaker to invisible in the span of one season. Being on the other side of the country, years before all the NFL TV coverage that came to be prevalent in the 1980s, I wonder if he was injured. He was traded, along with TE Billy Truax, to Dallas after the 1970 season for WR Lance Rentzel and wikipedia says he landed with the Dolphins prior to their 17-0 1972 season but was released before the season kicked off due to a lingering knee injury. My bad... lol
My old timer eyes must've failed me there.

Gotta put in another vote for CJ.CJ.
