Never cared for the man or the player. Didn't want him on the team, glad he's long gone. That said, I don't begrudge him or any other player getting paid. Happy that Case Keenum is getting his opportunity with the Vikings. Hope he gets paid as well.

Sam Bradford dealing with wear and tear to knee
By Nick Shook

The latest on Sam Bradford doesn't put him out for a long time. It also doesn't quell concerns about his long-term standing as quarterback of the Minnesota Vikings.

Bradford underwent an MRI and hasn't suffered a new injury, Vikings trainer Eric Sugarman told members of the local media on Tuesday, per Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Bradford is dealing with what Sugarman called knee wear and tear related to his two previous surgeries.

Bradford was visibly limited while playing on Monday night against Chicago before leaving due to the knee issue. Sugarman told reporters the Vikings did not put the quarterback at risk in allowing him to play, and wouldn't speculate on how long Bradford might be out.

Based on how Bradford looked before his exit, there's a good chance Case Keenum makes another start at quarterback for Minnesota on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.

I would think Bradford is a candidate for the micro-fracture surgery...the one where they try to stimulate the growth of artificial cartilage....probably running around on bone on bone.

Best checkdown artist at QB in history. Can't wait to see which team pays him next. Best of luck to them.
Crazy huh?
Especially with all the great O lines he played behind and all those great receivers he had to throw to.

I mean he had all day to wait for those great receivers to get open behind those fantastic Olines.
I don't know why he would even consider checking down.

Who has a more accurate and stronger arm in NFL history?
Not Elway, Favre, Marino etc. not even close...and I have the game film to prove it ;)

Rogers, and then Rogers and then maybe Rogers and that is it.
Of course, I am not God, Adonai, and neither are you Mr. Les ;)

I think Bradford is like a lot of things;

Not as bad as the critics say.

Not as good as proponents say.

Case Keenum and Bradford on the same team!

How do we Rams bros get so lucky?

If that don't make you want to post - I don't know what to tell you. :D

Don't you get it man?

You nailed it though.
Teams are willing to pay him 18 million a year because of that game one type game he's capable of.

Like I keep saying there are just a handful of top-level quarterbacks out there.

And two handfuls of second-stringers like Case Keenum. (Go Case!)

They are willing to pay 18 million dollars for a risky injury quarterback because they evidently don't know how to develop quarterbacks.

It's what the market bears.
And Sam Bradford is a big believer in the free enterprise system. :D ( Go Sam)

That was what had me saying "bye bye Bradford". He could have redone his deal but flat out refused.

Then pouted when the Eagles made the move to get a QB. If he had played worth a crap they would have kept him.

i can't roll my eyes long enough.

why would he redo his deal, ie - take a huge paycut, when his agent knew the rams were gonna trade him? in the end the rams paid the exact same amount of money to foles. yeah, it was all about the money.

the eagles signed him to a 2 year contract then a week later traded up to the #2 spot. what did you want him to do, be all laughs? so he missed a couple of voluntary sessions. what a catastrophe. haha, man.

you guys make me laugh.
