Absolutely didnt affect the outcome of the game, but sure affects the integrity of it!
Bull shit. These things always affect the game. You don't know what happens next. Rams make 1st down score a TD. The play calling becomes different. You pile up the missed fumble challenge alowed after play ran, the change on taking a penalty, both huge momentum killers. together Fuck yes it could have changed the outcome. We have more points. the D isn't n the field nearly as much. The Eagles might not have the lead and those runs might not happen.

Here is the thing tho. there is nothing we or the players and coaches can do about this shit. So they say we were not good enough, we need to do better because to focus on the shit you can't fix will drive you crazy and serves no purpose.

So... have we seen anything official from the NFL in regards to this rule? Love all the social media arm chair QBs and all but what's the official rule?

While we're discussing anomalies... How did they completely ignore the fact that the Rams RAN A FUCKING PLAY after the refs missed the KW. fumble??? Never seen that before either.

Yes - & why if they didn’t score a TD from the REF they could take a look at it ? It’s not a scoring play imo, because it was called incomplete??

I know I’m being biased, but thought they had to challenge it. It makes sense they did check, but the way the calls were going, just add another close call that didn’t go The Rams way.

—Still The Rams made mistakes on a 3 of those plays.

Who cares let's move directly to the tarring and feathering of the refs.

The retired zebra they have on call in the booth came on during the telecast and cited the rule and how this directly broke it.

I'm not looking it up tonight, but it is in the rule book. There was one exception... and I can't remember exactly what it was but it would be a very rare occurrence... but what happened on Sunday night was not even remotely connected to the written exception in the rule book. Dean Blandeno or whoever the fuck was the retired ref and rule expert cited the rule and read it out loud during game right when it was happening basically. ... the people who they pay supposedly because of what is supposed to be their superior knowledge of the NFL rule book.

The NFL should come out and say something about THAT. They clearly know it happened. Like I said earlier in this thread... if the league doesn't come out with a final statement/explanation about what was on free national tv.... I see that as so many kinds of bad that I'm going to be sickeningly disappointed and disgusted.

I would be happy if they just came out and clarified that the refs completely fucked up the call. That is so much better than just pretending it didn't happen and that nobody saw and heard what they did on free national TV.

Got it. The refs fucked up and new York was too busy picking their noses to jump in and correct it.

You notice these things always favor the "popular" teams. The NFL is a brand of entertainment, and they don't give a damn about sportsmanship or fairness. Only making money.

Even while picking their Caveman noses... it would have been even more impossible for them to not have realized that this was Damage Control material. They are ignoring it because they realize that saying nothing is better than ANYTHING else. That's almost always a sign of someone realizing how egregious the situation truly is.

It was more like their round table of legal eagles had their mouths hanging open when this was happening. There was only 1 NFL game to focus on.... and televised for free nationally.

This smells like shit to me.

I actually did see it happen ONE Time. And of course, the unlucky victim team was the Cleveland Browns. When I saw that highlight, I was like "WTF", and then to make it worse, it happened to the Browns. I'm not a Browns fan, but I feel for their fans.

"Cleveland Browns bottle gate". They actually rans 2 plays before the refs decided to go back and review the play.

And they overturned the Browns and gave the ball to JAX.
