Assuming I’m adding to the current roster It’s still….
Elite RB

Size, speed, power, vision, explosion in open field, hands.

The Rams likely still score 30ppg but the effect is getting those points is alot easier, especially for Stafford which is, at this point in his career the right approach.

No shade on our current RB’s either. They’re fine but not often or ever have they taken over a game, dominated a game or scared anyone on defense. Puka is the only ball carrier who brings that.

A runningback that would bully Seattle out of two high defense would be amazing and you can easily argue that beating them is what we need to do next year to get to superbowl so...

I think I want a true X receiver to take over for Adams and play X half the time next year but a guy like Robinson would be unbelievable and you just figure out what to do with Williams and Corum.

OT wouldn't be my first pick here but there's a world where a stud OT would take Corum and Williams to the next level (McClendon is above average but that's it for me).

Depends on where we're adding them:

FA - Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens.

Trade - Jack Bech, WR, Raiders.

Draft - Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State.
Help me understand Bech. I don't see anything that would make me think he's worth draft capital. But I don't watch the Raiders.

20 receptions for 224 yards last year... we know stats are just one data point so help me understand

A WR like Tyson or Lemon would add a lot to the offense. When Adams or Puka were on the sideline, we had JAG's out there.
This is high key an issue. Adams is old and Puka gets constantly nicked up. We had nothing behind them and offense stalled at times when one or both were out.

Geno Smith was his quarterback and Pete Carroll, his coach. Enough said.

Considering that even Bowers played below his standards this year (mostly because of shit QB play), I think he'd be an excellent candidate as a #2 receiver when Adams eventually leaves. He's been compared to Kupp and McConkey, and honestly, I think he could reach those heights. He's built big (6'1", 214 lbs.), is fast, has elite quickness, elite route running, elite hands, is a great blocker, and he fits a McVay offense with his intangibles as well.

I'd even go so far as to trade our second this year and our second next year, even add a young receiver like Whittington or Mumpfield for him if we have to; I think he's going to be that good.

Like Dieter said, though, he's probably not available unless it's an overpay.

Did you follow the process leading-up to the 2025 NFL Draft ... Senior Bowl, Combine, pre-draft workouts, analyses by various sources and draft evaluators? Bech was a draft-riser and very highly thought of by many.

I loved the guy in part because there were favorable comparisons to Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

As much as I'd like that true X-man at WR, and as much as I like the Kyren and Corum show, I would absolutely love if the Rams had a Faulk-like or Gurley-like RB that can just fucking wreck the best laid plans of a defensive coordinator. One of those guys, the kind that can do it all and do it spectacularly, improves every facet of the offense around him.

Jerimiyah Love Solves so many issues. Power back for short yardage, but can also hit home runs. I envision a world where we keep Stafford and his arm preserved by running the ball 30 times per game if needed. And he's a good receiver.
It would be very surprising to see him at 13. But I agree he'd be an impact player in this offense.

I did but did not pay much attention to him so that's why I'm asking. Interesting info.

An above average to great QB that can make plays with his legs.

Speed.
This!! Possibly pick up a FA QB who can run, (maybe the dude from GB??). Then give him one or two plays inside the 10 yard line & see what happens. Everyone knows 90% of the time we are going to pass for a TD currently. I do realize we do score using Stafford's arm most of the time. But think how fun it would be to keep the D honest with the possibility of a running QB. Then at #13, pull the trigger on Love...unstoppable!!

Ok, I'll admit, I'm being selfish. But at least this would save my ticker from heart failure next season!!!
