This team has followed a bit of a pattern since McVay took over

2017: good season, got to the playoffs and lost

2018: loaded up, and got to the Super Bowl

2019: down year, missed the playoffs

2020: good season, got to the playoffs, won a game, then lost

2021: loaded up even more, got to the Super Bowl again and won

2022: even worse down year miss the playoffs

Based on this pattern, we should be winning it all again in 2024 baby!!!
2018 - Traded a first round pick for brandon cooks contributed 80 1,204 and 5 tds

2020/2021 traded both first round picks for arguably the games best corner.

2022/2023 picks Traded for Matthew Stafford win the super bowl.

Our best offensive weapon went under the knife again for the second time in 4 years. Our franchise QB who has taken a ton of punishment over his career took a BEATING this year and seemingly at least contemplated hanging em up. We’re not the darling team all the vets want to ring chase on anymore (no more mid-season OBJ’s). Our line is a shit show…health will help but I don’t even feel great with the group we have when healthy. Our promising supposed “franchise” running back turned into a dud. Allen Robinson tore his acl.

There’s a difference now, we’re out of ammo. If we can’t win with what we got help is not coming. I think with health we will be a playoff team.

Oh and a last place schedule is never a bad thing.

lol, you would think so. Next year i'm pretty sure the NFCW plays the NFCE, so the other NFC teams would be Bears and Panthers. Having said that the shitters who will get the 1st place schedule will get to play a struggling Eagles, Vikings, and whoever the NFCS winner will be. Probably Tampa without Tommy.

Now invest in the O line. Good O line, he does not get busted up and still playing.
Good O line and Kupp does not get hurt. He got hurt on a terrible throw from a QB who should be backup to the backup .
O line, the most important unit on a football team.
AND, Mathew staying is wonderful news. Still paying for a man that is retired would be a especially bitter pill to swallow.
Especisally when Goff is playing at a very high level right now with many years ahead of him.

That isn't true. Spinal contusions are extremely serious. In most cases, it takes 6-12 months to heal and at least another 6 months of rehab. So to assume he will be able to play next season is very optimistic. Paralysis partial or full can occur. Most times its not permanent. There are a host of other potential issues including cardiac involvement In other words a spinal contusion isn't like a simple leg bruise. Hopefully, it isn't a bad contusion and Stafford would be ready for TC though IMO he might miss OTA's.
Exactly right about the seriousness of a spinal injury. It's great to hear that Stafford isn't retiring, but he needs to be healthy to play and needs a vastly better oline to stay healthy. Remains to be seen if both can come together for him and the Rams.
