Welp, Battlehawks now have sole possession of 1st place with a one game lead over DC and NY.

Battlehawks should badly beat DC next week. The Guardians will probably also loose to the Renegades. That will leave the Battlehawks in 1st place with a 2 game cushion midway through the season.

The Wildcats at 1-3 ain't looking to good.

The top 2 teams in each division, East & West, make the playoffs.

DC started off hot, but have cooled off and losing to Marc Trestman and the Vipers was inexcusable. IMO, Jonathan Hayes will have his BattleHawks ready and they present challenge each week because IMO, they have the 2nd best Quarterback in the league in Jordan Ta'amu, P.J. Walker of the Roughnecks seems to be a tad better throwing the football and can move in the pocket as well, but Ta'amu is bigger and is more of a threat with the RPO.

RB's Matt Jones, Christian Michael & now Keith Ford are quite a triumphant and teams will not be able to stop all three of them. Add in a stout defense overseen by Hayes's brother Jay Hayes and you have quite a formula for success. The Dome is loud, so the BattleHawks home field advantage is a plus and I expect it to come down to Houston vs. St. Louis in the XFL Championship IMHO.

Well, my laGuardians got back to 2-2, I want to like the uniforms but I cant help but wonder when Willie Beamon is going to play.
Caught a few minutes of the Dallas/Houston game, the RB for Dallas, Dunbar, was that the phantom Dunbar who allegedly was a member of the Rams a few years back?

Yes! Same Lance Dunbar with the Rams for a year...I think it was 2018 season. There's definitely a few former Rams spread around the XFL, including Luis Perez and Nelson Spruce.

Houston is the Battlehawks only loss, and it was a close game on the road. Interestingly, the Championship Game this 1st year will be in Houston. So, that's advantage Houston if they make it.

Big Mistake IMO, because if they held the Championship game in St. Louis, they could actually sell out the Dome.

The Houston stadium holds 40,000. What's the dome...65,000?

The Battlehawks have been drawing 27,000 to almost 30,000 for their games. I don't think the Championship game could pull 60k+ in St. Louis, but maybe the 50,000 range. The Houston stadium was picked for the championship game before the season.

I think they should let the highest seeded team host the championship games. I mean, how many people would show for example to a Seattle v. DC Championship in St. Louis. Probably not many.

True and I'm sure there were many factors, however, in the future, hopefully St. Louis could be an option too.

I think it's going to rotate locations over the years just like the Super Bowl.

The Battlehawks may end up hosting a playoff game, right. So, that might pack in a lot of people!
