Rams Sack Kap and 49ers

On what could be San Francisco's last trip to St. Louis, the Rams sacked QB Colin Kaepernik 5 times on the way to a ??-?? victory at the Edward Jones Dome. The team lead by rookie sensation RB Todd Hurley who rushed for 147 yards and 2 TDs. QB Nick Foles was 17/26 with 241 passing yards, 1TD and no interceptions

Rams Set Three Records in Single Game.

On Sunday the SAINT LOUIS Rams' Todd Gurley rushed for 312 yards becoming the first NFL Running Back to exceed 300 yards in a single game. Amazingly, he also broke the all purpose yards record of 404 by adding 112 yards in receiving yards. 106 of the 112 yards came after the catch. The Rams wisely took him out of the game late in the 3rd quarter.

But wait, as if that weren't impressive enough, the Rams defense also set the new single game sack record at 14 in the 53 to 7 blowout.

San Francisco Offense Scores More For St Louis Than St Louis Offense in Rams Blowout.

- St Louis

The San Francisco Offense came alive in the Edward Jones Dome on Sunday, putting up 4 TDs in their best offensive output of the season. Unfortunately, all 4 of those 4 TDs went to St Louis in the form of a fumble recovery for a TD and three pick sixes.

San Francisco's offensive woes were compounded by 11 sacks, 7 on Colin Kaepernick and 4 on backup Blaine Gabbert who came in after Kaepernick was sidelined with what is being called an ankle sprain and his status is day-to-day. All three of the INTs returned for TDs were thrown by Kaepernick only increasing the drama over the coming QB controversy.

The Rams defense looked devastating and in post season form. The same cannot be said of the offense. Other than star rookie Todd Gurley who seems to be willing this offense along almost single-handedly, the offense seems lost. Tavon Austin had a few moments and looks like he and Gurley will be the offensive foundations for this team going forward. Coach Frank Cignetti made some nice adjustments in the second half, but once again, the offense sputtered in the first half. Granted, the San Francisco defense showed up in a way that showed that this was a division game and long standing rivalry, but this offense will have to grow more if the goal is more than to win 9 games.

That being said, it'll be pretty hard for Rams fans to not enjoy this blowout win after a decade of futility.

I don't like using my time machine too often, but some of you were stressing and I figured I could copy this article from the future without wrecking the space-time continuum. But no, you don't get the final score.

Gurley Goes off in Gold Rush

In 1849 the first 49ers headed west at the onset of the California Gold Rush in search of riches, fame and glory. Fast forward 134 years to 2015 and the 49er's saw a new type of Gold Rush...or more accurately, a Blue and Gold Rush as Todd Gurley rushed 234 yards and 4 TD's in a Ram route of the storied 49ers.

RAMSACKED!!!

I love it. If they stuff the whiner rush and keep Kap contained he's gonna get brutalized. Could be a very high sack total, here's hoping.

Fool's Gold: Forty-Niners set new record for ineptitude in lopsided loss.

-

Colin Kaepernick never had a chance. After Rams linebacker Mark Barron hit him in the chest during the seventh sack in the game in the second quarter, Kaepernick is out for a significant amount of time with broken ribs. Backup Blaine Gabbert didn't fare any better as the Rams' front four pressured him into another seven sacks and four interceptions. Both San Fransico quarterbacks finished with a combined seven interceptions, including a pick six by Lamarcus Joyner, as the Rams rolled to a 55-0 shutout. Rookie phenom Todd Gurley rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, Tavon Austin added a punt return for a touchdown along with another touchdown on the ground, while underrated Cory Harkey picked up a touchdown through the air. Aaron Donald finished with a career high three and a half sacks, Robert Quinn chipped in another three and a half, while big Michael Brockers had two sacks. Eugene Sims, William Hayes, and Ethan Westbrooks each picked up a sack, along with Barron and T.J. McDonald. Janoris Jenkins had two picks, Trumaine Johnson, McDonald, Joyner, Barron, and James Laurinaitis all had interceptions.

Rams post shutout - Embattled QB retires.

The St Louis Rams coasted to an easy 49-0 win, setting the sack record in the process. In related news... Colin Kaepernick has retired from football after having his dick knocked completely up his butt hole on an Aaron Donald sack to end the ball game. As a result of that injury, he is said to have legally changed his name to Colon Crapperdick.

The Crown is Back with Kansas City!
Royals win pennant for first time since 1985.

Oh! You mean the Rams/49ers headline. Right...:shades:

Battering Rams!
Lead by Gurley and Donald, the Rams route the 49ers to remain unbeaten against the NFC West.

I'm hoping both come true.(y)
