I’m feeling less than comfortable with our back-up after seeing him in garbage time during this stretch of games.

Of course we’re totally screwed if we have to depend on him but there has to be better options out there.

Keenum played pretty damn good for the Browns last week. Saints have been battling the Bucs with Siemian. Not sure we could be competitive without Stafford.

Is it just me, or is there something about Wolf’s first snap that always seems like it’s about to be a disaster?

I could easily see a veteran free agent QB being added next year, along with a mid-round draft pick also. I'm not comfortable with either Wolford or Perkins, although I now believe Perkins should get the next shot at snaps for our next blowout win. jmo.

He’s playing with backups.
Please don't excuse his play. What are you, his mother? Best friend?

I was shaking my head when Jefferson (NOT A BACKUP) ran a perfect out pattern but was covered, and Wolfie threw a sure pick six that the DB dropped.

No thanks. He almost single-handedly was instrumental in a 38-0 collapse.

I absolutely think Perkins should take this role. He does everything Wolford does, but better.

He was playing with backups but even then, you'd like to see a bit more from him.
They were basically going against backups also. They may be the Texans starters, but many would be backups on most teams.

Because I’ve seen how he plays with starters, which is good enough.
No, Perkins doesn’t. The ball comes out slow & late.
I like Perkins, Wolf is better.

Surely entitled to your opinion, and I was definitely on the "Replace Goff with the Wolfman" bus late last season, but in his limited time, he has looked like he couldn't break his HS starting lineup.

What if he really has to come in with the game on the line? I feel like we have to do something.

Can we give up next year's 2nd round pick for Goff?

If he does, he’ll be in with the ones. He’ll be fine.

He's never played great, thought today was on par with what we saw in the Playoffs vs Seattle before he got hurt and what we've seen from him in general. A passable backup but somebody you don't want to ever rely on as a starter. Below average and not sure he'll ever get better.

Stafford is playing like a top 3 QB in the league, the drop-off would be steep no matter who we had.

Maybe 1/3 of the league have backups they could count on to come in and play well in relief. And those who have that, aren't going to want to trade them away.

We're stuck with Wolford, just like we were stuck with Sean Mannion in 2018. And it won't matter as long as they keep QB1 on his feet. That was always essential. So far, so good.

I heard Wolfy had been fooling around with Goff's supermodel gf before he left for Detroit. Maybe her vag is like the Monstars and just sucks all the talent out of QBs.

Mike White was fantastic for the Jets today

Actually a dope track, never heard that before. Method Man always been one of my favs

Dude, that's the Monstars' song in Space Jam (and has zero curse words, to boot). In my honest opinion, it's the best villain song since Imperial March.
