He plays with an edge. Will that edge, transcend his size and speed deficiencies? He can play, no doubt. At NFL, in doubt.
 
Fangio LBs do a lot of dropping and there's gonna be a lot of subbing due to the nature of our group so there's room for this guy to break in as a teams and run down specialist.

Prob is we have a bunch of guys like that lol. But yeah I wouldn't rule this dude out if he can stay off the trainer's table.

Honestly, I think Johnston is going to redshirt this year, much like Okoronkwo did. I see PUP and IR in his future. But if he's as good as Favre is saying, he'll easily make the roster next year.
 
The more I watch, the more I like it. Health issues be damned. He was a 7th rounder, if he washes out, bid deal. But that kind of try hard and enthusiasm can't be taught. This is a guy I think we will all be rooting for and if Hard Knocks happens, he will be a hit I'm sure...I'm gonna say it now so in a year I can talk shit. This kid is going to win the Starting spot and be our new defensive leader for years to come.....unless he blows his knee out...then forget this ever happened.

I have another exRam I would compare him to. Hacksaw says huddle around me. Montana in another huddle says there John Candy in the stands.

I go back to an underrated player. Hating ND, but watching Joe come out of the tunnel one last time was cool.

btw - hate the Niners. I’ll go back to the rookies first season & maybe first start was against the 9ers ?? Either way Kurt Warner got some playing time as well. Kept my $5,000 bet against the Ravens following year. Also let my $1,000 Ram beat because of Trent Green & all the other moves that made the Great Show on Turf great ride.

Excellent post because, just going through the draft, you never know what your going to get.
As Forrest Gump says, life is like a box of candies.

Just watching the video as most get a feel for a player. Have to put it all in perspective though.

Now after all the excellent posting & videos. Knowing The Rams & McSnead.

This kid is going to give The Rams starters a run for there money. If nothing else fire up the LBer & defensive group.

Does he have a Projective 40 time ??
That will only add to his tape.
