Between this injury and the complete collapse of the Seahawks defense.. and the obvious mistake of trading for and paying Adams.. I think we're seeing the end of the Carroll/Schnieder era in Seattle.
Trading for Adams was either a reaction to the Rams getting Ramsey or Pete thinking that he was the next Earl Thomas. They thought they were getting the same level of player. It’s not even close. They just got a better faster version of Taylor Rapp imo.
That kind of move is what lowered my opinion of Pete and Schneider who were lauded as this great personnel duo. After his college insight wore off Pete’s got nothing. They haven’t drafted well. They wasted picks on Harvin and Adams. They haven’t had a good Oline in years. They have no imagination nor flexibility with their defense. They really aren’t that good.
I think a Pete walked into a perfect storm and now it’s out to sea.
