With 2 more sacks today, he raises his season total to 6.

This is a Jeff Fisher kind of player. He played in Tennessee with Fisher and dude has been beast in the rotation. Under the radar off season pickup.

Yep. Excellent fill-in for the void left by James Hall. Eugene Sims is coming along still too. If we had one more badass LDE, we could really have a beastly DL rotation.

Yes.

I love this d-line. It's only going to get better if they stay healthy.

Langford has been awesome, too.
So has Brockers.

But we're talking about defensive ends, ya thread derailer you.
10 minutes in the penalty box.

But, Dude, Hayes lines up at DT too.

Fine I'll go to the penalty box.

Yeah, Hayes does a nice job inside. That's why I want another beastly LDE. We can rotate and never lose any pressure or intensity on a 4-man rush, and can get 4 DE's on the line in passing situations. For now, though, I'll settle for what we have and a difference maker at WR and Safety.

Actually with Hayes and Sims as part of the rotation, it is already fairly beastly. I would like to see one more run stuffing type DT that we can put in there in obvious rushing downs along side Brockers or who we can give a heavy rotation to against run heavy teams (like the Vikings). Add in a safety or two and our D will be very beastly, very strong, top 5 type D.

Hate to be a downwer but didn't Hayes only sign a one year deal? We need to get him under contract for next year so this D can continue to grow.

I think with the amount of snaps he's getting they are holding back his great talent
Yeah. Seems like whenever he's on the field, dude just makes plays.
Hope we get him under contract.
