Will Stafford get snubbed? named alternate for Pro Bowl

Full Pro bowl roster comes out tonight at 7pm CST.

3 QB’s typically make the QB roster.

Rodgers and Brady are locks.

3rd QB will come down to Stafford vs Murray.

Honestly it’s a close race but I think our guy should get the nod.

Both teams 10-4.

Murray:
2021 stats: 11 games | 69.8 pct | 3,039 pass yds | 8.4 ypa | 20 pass TD | 10 INT | 270 rush yds | 5 rush TD | 11 fumbles

Stafford:
2021 stats: 14 games | 67.6 pct | 4,142 pass yds | 8.3 ypa | 35 pass TD | 10 INT | 36 rush yds | 0 rush TD | 3 fumbles

A few stats that really standout:

Murray 21 total turnovers through 11 games. 25 total TD.

Stafford 13 total turnovers in 14 (3 more) games. 35 total TD.

I know this is a popularity contest for
Fans but coaches and players also vote. The unbiased pick should be Stafford. The Lombardi is the one that counts but recognition is deserved for the pro bowl.

Murray is "flashier" for sure. Murray makes plays where I think, "how the hell did he do that?" His mobility is amazing.

Yes, Stafford has the occasional no-look pass, but the "wow" value doesn't measure up to Murray's theatrics.

Having said that, I think Stafford's numbers are objectively better. And I'd rather have Stafford as our QB-- Murray is an injury waiting to happen.

I'm guessing Murray will receive more votes, but I think Stafford is a better overall QB.
