This is going to bring the CA Insurance market to it's fucking knees. This is insane...Pedro is a bit south of the danger.
1000 structures in Palisades alone have burned

Pepperdine grad...what part of Malibu is she in?Yep. My sister lives in Malibu (since the early 70's) and she says these are the strongest winds she's ever seen.
Move the gm to State Farm stadium here in Arizona. Nice place…and the Cardinals aren’t using it.
I was gonna suggest Levi (based solely on proximity to me), but Cardinals stadium is the better stadium.
Fuck if I know, but I’d get to go. Lolboth seat around 65k. and SoFi over 70k
who gets the seats and who gets the refund?
Seriously? Wow..6? Try practically every year.

Yes, we have fires almost every year, tornado's, hurricanes and disasters happen across the globe. This is the a disaster and the worst fire episode I have witnessed.6? Try practically every year.
They have pulled resources from up and down the coast but it takes time to organizeSeriously? Wow..
That's nuts. Didn't imagine it was a yearly occurrence in LA.
Surprised they don't already have multiple forestry units on this by now? Sure some are being called up but usually don't they already show up by now for this season?
As you can tell I'm the reigning expert on forest fires! lol
If only they had foreseen this annual situation and filled the fucking reservoir. They have pulled resources from up and down the coast but it takes time to organize
Yeah bro, that's another issue but it sounds like they have water so far. They did recently ask for us to conserve so maybe that has changed. The fires somewhere around 6 years ago, maybe a bit more, were the really bad ones. I remember flying down the coast on a C-2 and the shit was on fire as far as you could see. But I suppose what they really care about are the expensive homes.

Potential loss of life and property wil always take precedent, vegetation generally comes back stronger and healthier "generally"The fires somewhere around 6 years ago, maybe a bit more, were the really bad ones. Yeah, sounds about right, Pali is about 10 from the Wood but it just depends on where exactly it is. I kinda think the fire is moving away from SoFiLast I heard the Fires are maybe 9 miles away from Sofi? Wilshire Blvd sound right?
This isn’t just burning homes in the hills and foothills, because of 60+ mph winds the embers are traveling and burning structure after structure in the flatlands, areas not considered fire risk areas. I’ve never seen anything like this.Well while I feel for the people that lost their homes or worse. I also have to believe they knew the risk moving to an area where a wildfire is almost certain. Same goes with the insurance companies. This is why people pay insane premiums and deductibles. Insurance companies should have zero complaints.

I never thought I would say it but the Monday night game now benefits our chances of a game being played in L.ANFL monitoring L.A. fires ahead of Vikings-Rams
As wildfires continue to devastate several areas across Los Angeles, the NFL is monitoring the situation's potential impact on Monday night's wild-card playoff game between the Vikings and Rams at SoFi Stadium.www.espn.com
“The air quality index in the area varied Wednesday from 150 to well above 300, depending on specific locations, with smoke and ash blanketing the region. A rating of 150 is considered "very unhealthy," according to the system used to measure air pollution. The air quality in Inglewood, California -- where SoFi Stadium is located -- was 281 as of Wednesday afternoon.”
