If AD99 can lose his shit, get a potentially devastating personal foul... Then...lose his shit again much later after the game is over...that's pretty much All about ME.

So.....now we gotta worry bout when and where he'll lack professionalism and cost us for real next time.

If this was Richie we were talking bout, you'd all lose your minds.

Yeah, being a hothead means you're a selfish player. I see some of you still won't let go of the "Donald is selfish" narrative.

It is a narrative. It's been a narrative since he started holding out. And your point was that it was going to be an issue moving forward. Donald has been the one guy on this defense consistently performing as he should. I can deal with him getting a rare personal foul.

I'm not one of your fucking sheep Jerry

I can see things how I fucking want to

Im not sure Donald should have been penalized. When you take a cheap shot like he did you should be able to retaliate at least a little bit. When the games over though then you shouldn't be able to get physical at all, but for what he did it should just be a fine.

And I can criticize your point of view. You can do the same with mine. This is a forum, not a pat-on-the-back line. We're all adults. We can all deal with somebody disagreeing with our POV.

You need to get my point of view right if you're going to do that please.

I'm simply saying I am now worried what the hell he might do next time. I say this because we have a certain amount of good information detailing past instances where sportsmanship can be questioned.

The above is FACT

your assertation that I'm involved in some kind of "narrative" would indicate that I'm involved in some sort of pre-planned thought.

That is not FACT.

I see a dude and wish the dude would be more dude like. It is that simple.

Okay, how many personal fouls (not counting roughing the passer) does Donald have in his career? How about the past couple years? I remember him getting tossed out of the game (with a weak ejection) by Vinovich's crew. And we saw him get an offsetting PF this weekend after a dirty play by Seattle's OL. Outside of that, how many PFs does Donald have?

I don't recall the guy being a consistent issue. That was the problem with Richie.

You can't count the one against Derek Carr this year either. He was already low when he lunged.

So that would be a poor excersise, to count personal fouls and make a judgment. There are too many that aren't deserved or have mitigating circumstance. I only remember some shenanigans he pulled while in a pile but can't site the game or opponent.

It should be fair enough to say there's new concern and I hope he gets it dialed in before it costs us for real. I'm pretty sure I ain't the only one who feels this way. It's not like I'm coming out of left field with this.

And if he does do it again...I won't say "I told ya so"

As long as he keeps destroying interior OLs, you're welcome to say "I told you so." ;)

Both of you put your helmets on please.

Totally agreed. Having said that, Richie ain’t Aaron Donald. His actions were unacceptable behavior but he’s also, literally, the best defensive player in the league.

Regardless, I want to see some more professionalism from him. The after game thing is where I can’t excuse that. That’s just plain stupid and selfish. Hopefully a talk from McVay will fix things. I think it will.

I'd say its possible since there's now video of it. Hopefully just a fine.

Some of the stuff that goes through peoples minds. Donald did nothing wrong he took off his shoulder pads, put on his helmet and went and had a conversation. I would bet if any of you worked as hard as he has his whole career and took a cheap shot that we all known has ended peoples season you wouldn't be to happy either. Donald let him know about it. He didnt punch him or shove him, he grabbed his face mask and had words happens probably 10 times a game. I guess that makes him a me player.

Bingo.

One thing I noticed was Gurley was in that crowd during the scuffle. We all would've been beyond pissed had AD instigated there at the end and somehow Gurley got injured or some other unnecessary freak accident happened.

I get why Donald did it. But it doesn't change the fact that it goes against the "We not Me" mission statement.
