I wonder how much input our Oline coach has in the blocking schemes for ST.

I'm not entirely sure we can say no to anything at this point depending upon what McVay decides to do. Once again not advocating for signing him but unfortunately discussing kickers because of our special teams struggles. However I do understand the argument of no. Pros are that he has a strong leg and has shown past success......the cons, older and his last year wasn't so great for whatever reason.
He's a sexpest. N-O.

Bringing a new kicker won't do any good if they don't correct the blocking problems. No way a guy should have come that close to blocking it. I have no idea how he didn't.
Karty was so late with his walk up that he kicked it BEHIND him, haha.

Didn't he just serve his suspension though? If he paid his debt, than I have nothing against it. Once again, not advocating for it, but discussing an option that is out there (a controversial one obviously). However, I personally suspect McVay will adjust other parts of the kicking set up before ousting Karty based on his recent comments.

I really wish we’d bring in another Special Teams coach (or consultant) to help fix this - some experienced stud ST coach.
Well that costs $$$$, and the results from "some experienced stud ST coach" especially knowing that we have a shitty kicker and low budget ST personnel would equate into no improvement, and could tarnish the reputation of the "experienced stud ST coach" when he will eventually get blamed for the same thing the previous ST Coach was fired for....

An "experienced stud ST coach" would stay miles away from the Rams Special Teams, because the Rams aren't spending a nickel more on ST's...... So we just have to deal.

Would you say that about a rapist or a child molester?

Tucker's a fucking sexual deviant. If he wanted to have legal sex, he could've paid for it; he has the money. He did this because he's a deviant who wanted to fuck with women who did not ask him to do that. None of them asked for it. He was banned from two or three massage parlors because he did this to at least sixteen women we know of. He was fucking married while doing all of that, with a son.

No, I would be seriously upset if we signed Tucker.

I honestly think he altered his kick because he saw there was no way he was getting it by the edge rusher that had a clear path to the ball. I think everyone agreed that if he kicked it true, it was going to careen right back at him. Always a threat for a game changing return.

There is obviously more than one thing wrong with our place kicking. Karty could be a big part of it. But that line blocking has been atrocious. It hasn't been great on punts either. If that is not corrected, it's only a matter of time before a team sees the weakness and puts a bit more effort into successfully blocking a punt.

Nothing wrong with that stance. I don't pretend to know the whole story but guess I'm ok with dumb ass idiots getting second chances sometimes lol

The whole story is that Tucker did the exact same thing that Deshaun Watson did. Were it something accidental, a drunken night out from both parties and sex there, maybe - maybe - I'd excuse it, but this was clearly done to sixteen women we know of - whom he knew wouldn't consent - over the course of four years. He was banned from two massage parlors in Baltimore, did this at eight parlors in the Baltimore area. He was suspended ten games for it (ten games which he will have to serve with his new team, so if we sign him, he'll be suspension for ten weeks with us). He was cut by the Ravens for it and has not since been picked up by anymore.

So, in summary, a thirty-five-year-old sexual deviant kicker who has hurt sixteen women, has been banned from two places where he hurt them out of eight, has shown no contrition, is currently suspended for ten weeks, and will have to serve that suspension for basically the rest of our season, where he will turn thirty-six.

Justin Tucker is not a person I want to have on my favorite sports team for many reasons, but the sexual crimes are stuff I can't overlook. Sex crimes - along with murder and crimes against children or spouses - are something I can never overlook.

I wasn't talking about yesterday's game. I was talking about previous games. I saw the mishaps from yesterday.

Yeah - of course the niners game as a big example.Listening to Mcvay this week,he says he is going to make a couple of moves to get it right.
-Mcvay doesn’t want to do anything of emotions, but always needs to kick the tires on what is Best for The Rams.

He likes Karty, but needs him to step up.My guess is he is going to bring in competition.

He mentioned the long snapper as well, which I’m not sure he thinks that is the problem.

Blackburn is off the hook right now & he says he likes the assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica who was with Denver.

The niners cut there kicker. He went to da bears, helped win a game & then got cut again. Mean while SJ has a guy who has been consistent, which hurts.

Ya I hear ya and agree.

But in todays society those types of folks are all over law enforcement, education, business and political world and warmly accepted by their constituencies.

The moral compass doesn't point in the same direction anymore.... especially in the good ol USA.

Ummm, we have one of the richest owners in the NFL. He’s willing to spend as well. Money is not an issue here.
