We have a back with 1200 yards about 4.8 ypc and 10 td
We have a #2 back with 850 yards about 4.6 ypc and 6 td

So again I ask why? Why is it so important to get him on the bench as our 3rd rb when our 3rd only had carries in 2 games one was 100% in mop up duty the 1st game against Arizona. Sure it would be nice to see him but we don't need him he's a luxury. So much hang wringing over something that doesn't matter at all.

but he can pass pro. We have a 37 year old QB. Do you remember the hit that ended Steve Youngs career? it was ex ram Phillips that whiffed and let Aenas Williams in. You don't see much of the RBs missing their blocking assignment on this team. It probably goes with understanding the system as well. Plus I am sure he can run.
Sorry can't convince me otherwise that Rivers isn't a JAG. Dude is easily replaceable. Hunter is a JAG too so far. His time to prove otherwise will have to wait til next year.

Thx for proving my point about Rivers being a JAG lol. Apparently so far so is Hunter. Oh well, I agree with you tho. McVay worried about getting the boys ready for the playoffs more than anything else.

Very possibly another Auburn RB that doesn't catch on with the Rams. Snead is a hump for those.

Aw my bad......yeah McVay expects a lot for sure. Both guys are JAGs, not necessarily a shock or bad thing for a 3rd string RB or the rook at this point. I pray we don't ever have to rely on them hahaha

We all assuming he can't pass pro but maybe he isn't showing vision, patience, ability to get the blocked yards, or ball security.

All we know is he's not doing enough.

Lets see what happens next year but it doesn't bode well that he couldn't carve out even a few carries this year.

I'm very disappointed we didn't get to see him.. and I hope we get to see a lot of him next year.
Then again.. I don't want to take any snaps from Corum or Williams.. so..

So do we assume that if a RB in this system is struggling with blitz pickup that he also can’t find a spot on a struggling ST’s unit through the last 17 weeks?

I’m not buying it. My guess is he isn’t working hard enough or showing that competitive sense of urgency that McVay likes to zero in on. Tutu Atwell went through this early on.
I'm starting to see that Tutu has some of what I'll call "Van Jefferson" in him.
He doesn't go up and fight for the ball.
He'll occasionally try and break up an underthrown ball, but he doesn't fight for possession.
