Why No Hawk or Niner Fans?

Anybody else a verteran (survivor?) of the old ESPN message boards? That was the freaking wild west...

If that's the site I think it was (there weren't nearly as many as there are now) I was giving a lot of whiner fans some hard times there during 1999. A few of them were saying after the 42-20 beatdown to wait until we went to Candlestick. I was right back in there after the 23-7 thumping having a field day.

Those fans were miserable and I was taking sheer delight as I poured gas into their burning dumpster with a heavy dose of counter attacks to their whiney excuses. I was typing jokes so fast to each whiner dork I felt like a court stenographer. It was pretty populated, current, and live back then after the games were over. Truthfully they had really weak retorts if any, and then started giving up. I would tell them to go put on their ratty faded Montana jerseys with the holes and reminisce. That got them pissed. I only remember one guy's handle, and it was hearadear. Weak! Mine was probably HawaiiRam which was one of my mains from those days. One alt was Ninerkiller haha. Then I'd log on my fake whiner handle and project doom and gloom, that I'm giving up and jumping off the bandwagon. A few whiner fans got upset that I was done so easily. After strategically launching a few sad quitter posts someone called me out to the others that I was a fake and I began laughing my ass off.

I know, terrible. That was then though, a much younger version of me that doesn't troll as much.

I think it boils down to the kind of people who are attracted to those two teams specifically, as well as the rules that ROD members are required to follow.
To make it here doesn't require a lot of intelligence or even remotely coherent posts for that matter... but what you can't be is a clueless, classless, tasteless, ignorant-yet-arrogant assclown....

Unlike Cardinals fans (and despite having arguably larger fanbases) these two teams just don't produce many fans who are decent enough to stick around...

I'm positive each team has some good fans with enough class to be ROD members... but they are so few and far between, actually talking to enough of them to find one sounds more painful than a mideval root canal.


I really fucking hate both teams fans, despite having good buddies who are casual fans... but we aren't casual fans. We're diehards. I've never met a diehard 49ers or Seahawks fan who wasn't a useless tool. Just shallow douchebags. I don't know why. Just how it is. The only fanbase that's as disgusting is the Eagles (and I have no special hatred towards the Eagles or Philadelphia).
As much as I hate the Patriots and their stupid fans - those people almost couldn't help it. It's far more understandable...

Well The biggest Fan of them Lossing & the 9ers as well. I do know if you have ever cheered that way.

I don’t even know who the Saints QB is going to be Sunday,but I’ll be cheering for them to win.

Perspective & the way one looks at things.Like right now I’m cheering for KC to loss,All The Rams Fan crying about The Rams losses ? What the best 2 teams in the AFC & NFC. The Cards at home(won away) & Miners on the road.

Those 4 losses look a lot better than Lossing to Miami & then the 0-13 Jets. Once again person. Lossing to GB on the road 2 times in a row ? Don’t want to see it again. How good are The Rams ? Last time Ram Fans saw Cam Akers was in that Lossing playing QB 7 times & Jared Goff of all people with a broken hand playing WR.
The hook & ladder against GB looked better than in Baltimore.

There are some former St Louis Ram fans who decided to become 49er fans who post over on the PD board. Kind of strange why they'd select the primary rival of their former team as their team now. As if it's to spite the Rams for leaving. But there are 30 other teams .....1 in their state...and others in their region that would make more sense to jump on their bandwagon... I mean if the Lakers moved to Alaska, it's not like I'd start rooting for the Celtics. Makes you wonder if they were really Ram fans in the first place.

As an SC,Lakers,Angel fan(Kings?) I’ve enjoyed watching franchises win championships.Now a days I’m a DIE- hard Rams Fan & have always been because of these boards. I love watching player development.
Long Beach State & SC basketball.

Point being I have a good eye for talent imo.Know I could have run teams better than some pro organizations when it comes to it.

Now it sort of came together. I appreciate how Pete Carrol has done things. He has been a class act all the way through. The NCAA F”d him & that program up Big Time.

That head of the NCAA from Miami was horrible (died). Then to see what the NCAA did for Urban Myer to win a Championship? Taj Gibson name came up with a friend last night as well. Playing for NY Knicks. His Senior year got screwed(oj mayo is in Euro or Australia) . Then DJ1 playing for therams? He bailed out on Pete as well as McVay.

My list goes on forever. I mean going to Oxnard & seeing Tre Mason.Saffold,Stef Bailey(TA) Shaun Hill.Austin Davis ? To know they were moving & anyone that wants to think different can ? I knew from just being a drunk fan & went to a music venue.Talked to a policeman with 2 beers in hand( 1 actually basically under his feet. Kronke & Jones knew what was going on when they were in that crew’s nest tower together even if something else was going on.

—funny looking back I have posted on a Kings board knowing they would win it all. Same with SC basketball. Maybe football ? But was really into SC Rivals for HS recruits.
Angels & Lakers as well.but do have a photo of Derrick Fisher & Kobe Bryant at CSULB playing together & Kobe wearing a #10 jersey because of his love for football(soccer).

He has always been a players coach. He has high energy & his record speaks for itself. NFL history is what it is. I know as a Ram Fan I’m a Hater as well. Big Ben ?? I respect his career as well. He beat Kurt Warner !!

Yeah and some boards were really dead. The worse teams had crickets chirping. The better teams had posts every few minutes. I didn't see much from Cheatriots fans later, but I knew better than to try to "defend" those forums because the teams that won would just stormtroop in and I wasn't having it. I can dish but no way I'm taking it being outnumbered.
