Uh, not dipping your head was one of the first things I was taught playing football. This was for my protection, not the guy I was trying to tackle. These silly rules you are talking about is all about protecting the franchise QB. They really should make them wear a different color jersey like the goalie in futbol or just nickname them "nancy".
