I'm not willing to throw in the towel but if Goff doesn't lead us to a Super Bowl championship in the next two years, I hope the Rams find another QB.
I agree but also think that with a great O-line there are numerous QBs available that we could just plug in to the spot with equal success and not have to pay them so much money.Fix the offensive line, and Goff will be a lot better again. Maybe never great, but very good.
Been watching a lot of last year vs this year Goff stuff.
That release speed went from above average to below average. It's shocking when you really start to look at it.
Yeah i know i keep hammering on this but when your pass protection gets worse AND the release gets slower....

Nothing is wrong with Goff.
Half the teams in the NFL would give us two first-round draft picks for him.
Lol literally watching the other guys Goff was drafted with, and its not looking pretty for any of them at the moment. I guess everyone has QB problems; what a time to be alive.
Any starting QB will signed from now til eternity will be paid as much if not more than Goff is being paid right now. Thats just the way it is for QBs in the NFL.I agree but also think that with a great O-line there are numerous QBs available that we could just plug in to the spot with equal success and not have to pay them so much money.
Or Tennessee or SEC in a pinch.rebuild the OL, and draft another Georgia RB in this draft or the next. Georgia develops RB like no other school IMHO. Get me a Nick Chubb clone or another Gurley please
No way in hell bro.... the only people i know that think goff is worth a shit are Rams fans.
Goff would be bad ass behind the Niners, Steelers or Patriots O line. Give him ther protection he needs and I wouldn't want anyone else.No way in hell bro.... the only people i know that think goff is worth a shit are Rams fans.
But still that being said he is probably the 2nd best QB in franchise history....

Then how did he get to two straight Pro Bowls. Those voters seemed to like him.

lol.... another of the 1000000 hearsay fallacies... patriots line is maybe worse than ours
In QB's that have started every game.. goff has been sacked the 6th least. The offensive line has been better and the passing game hasn't. Partially because we have been playing good defenses and partially because Goff is missing key throws.
Listen I'm cheering for Goff and I hope he catches fire starting sunday... But im finding the excuses to be less and less convincing.
i know what i see.... but i havent given up on him
You can't tell me the pass blocking has been better. That sack rate is actually a credit to Goff, not the line.
Goff throws the ball away instead of being sacked.
Jared hasn't been as good this year, but let's not pretend like the line, run game and coaching haven't been screwing him all year, because they very clearly have.
Yeah, he's the QB but it's still a team sport and nowhere around JG can you point to a part of the offense thats played better than a 6-5 team, or an 8-8 team for that matter.
Anyone else get a bit of a feeling that the media 'hype' of Mcvay quarter-backing from the sideline until 15 seconds fed more into the offseason progression than the 6-1 formation and the idea of just blowing up the offensive line with vertical pressure?
