Yea, to my memory he didn't do much in the Pass game.
Did he knock down any passes or get any interceptions? I don't remember any.
He was used a ton around the LOS and made some huge tackles coming up in run support however. Some huge stops vs the Niners come to mind in the NFC Championship game. (Credit to Raheem for deploying Weddle in the right way).
Weddle was always really instinctive and great at diagnosing plays, so he was able to add that to our Super Bowl run.
His range in coverage became subpar as he got older but that wasn't a problem for us during our Super Bowl run since we had loaded up on pass rushers, as others pointed out. Otherwise he may have been exposed.
