Why does it carry additional risks for Murray? Regardless of his size, he’s not looking for contact at all. He’s not Ben, Cam, Wentz or Watson trying to run through defenders because he know he doesn’t have the frame like they do(which is a gift & a curse on their part).

Every QB is going to get hit “hard”. Kyler is no different. Goff is no different. Darnold is no different. Russ is no different. It’s the ones that knows how to take those hits that will survive longer than the others.

I meant QB's who run get hit more, they put themselves at more risk. And with Murray his size will mean he is at slightly greater risk.

And while he may not be looking for contact it'll come to him.

Actually for me it's more of a Robert Griffin III way of thinking. Very talented QB that likes to run and is slight of build. Not going to deny he's good but he's mobile and slim. It only takes a couple hits to start an injury history and lets be honest there. The Rams have a history of hurting Arizona QB's and a guy who hits QB's more than anybody else in the NFL.
He might be a better natural thrower than Lamar but the cards run a more conventional offense and he seemed to be running for his life a lot. In a conventional offense smaller guys like Kyler and Baker have to find a lane to throw through. Smaller guys are gonna have issues in drop back situations, the Ravens use Lamar in the run game which gives them a numbers advantage and gets him in situations to go one on one, but he had issues throwing in the playoffs again. People say Kyler dropped back conventionally in college but he had a great oline. He’s not just small he’s tiny, I think he’s shorter than Russ and Brees. I just think in this division it’s gonna be tough

Could also go the Russell Wilson way of thinking. Smaller stature QB that knows & when to slide to avoid big hits.

I mean, is RG3 going to be the comparison for every QB with good athleticism that comes onto the scene from now on? That seems to be the theme here.
Can Newton, Michael Vick, RG3, Wentz, Crapondick, Dante Culpepper, Vince Young, Quincy Carter.

What do they all have in common? They all averaged 4 rushes or more a game and got injured rushing the f’n football!

Look I’ll be the first one to say I enjoy a running QB more than any ( absolutely love watching Russel Wilson play, but don’t tell my ROD brethren they think he’s only been lucky 8 years in a row now with no but the fact is running QB’s are more prone to injury.

Accept it. Is it guaranteed? No. But it’s just a matter of time.

I’m wondering if your QB is so small he might be a strong midget type that can’t get hurt and is impervious compared to an RG3 or Cam Newton with a longer lankier body type?

PS You better pray Kingsberry doesn’t run RPO’s a lot because mark my words, he’s going to get blasted.

Also, a last place schedule doesn’t hurt for the development of a rookie QB!

I look forward to our meeting in the desert this year!

ALL HAIL KING WARNER!

I really don’t feel like reiterating this take again like I did before the season so I’ll just share this article which I feel similar thoughts to down below.

Also, Aaron Rodgers has dealt with numerous injuries over the years. I’m not sure if you’re using him to prove your point or not.

So this guys whole argument is based off just Russel Wilson? The numbers ALWAYS come back to bite your ass. It’ll happen to Wilson if he keeps doing the same shit. He’s going to get injured doing that shit, book it. Then the Seagulls going to be lost at QB.

I understand your a Cardinals fan and all and have the rose tinted glasses on like a lot here do about Goff but it only takes one RPO, one scramble trying to make something out of nothing and it’s over.
