In a couple years you'll be linking to a vid about the 8 WR's drafted before the great Tutu
I certainly hope so!, it's not looking particularly good as of right now.
00:30+ Probably just me... but - that was sloppy reporting...
"Kupp was a force to be reckoned with, with Eastern Michigan....."
Yeah when I first listened I had to rewind to make sure he said that. lol smh In the comments he listed a correction to that, but still. smh

Kupp is better than all those receivers on that list. Bloke is just superb, especially with Stafford throwing him the ball. Fingers crossed he stays fit.

Agree. Can't catch the ball if you're not open. And Kupp is ALWAYS open. The nasty moves he makes twists DB's up into neat little pretzels. He makes up for not being the fastest WR by being the toughest to bring down, stiff-arming & juking his way down field & fighting every tackle. LOVE this pick, would take him over any in that class.

  1. Corey Davis, TENN (5)
  2. Mike Williams, LAC (7)
  3. John Ross, CIN (9)
  4. Zay Jones, BUF (37)
  5. Curtis Samuel, CAR (40)
  6. Ju-Ju Smith-Schuster, PIT (62)
  7. Cooper Kupp, Rams (69)
I remember wanting Smith-Shuster or Zay Jones; and being disappointed when Ju-Ju almost fell to the Rams.

Wish I could say that I have gotten smarter with age.

Looked up the Draft, and see where WRs Taywan Taylor, ArDarius Stewart and Carlos Henderson all went in the fifteen picks following the Kupp selection ... and were followed by Chris Godwin.

It applies to many positions (perhaps all) but Wide Receiver is such a Hit-and-Miss.

In contrast... Jeff Fisher traded UP in the FIRST ROUND to get wide receiver Tavon Austin just a couple years earlier. And please don't try to tell me that Snead was involved in that pick -lol.

How should it look, as of right now?
Who should he be getting snaps ahead of?
From what I've seen, it's looking just fine.
That’s been my whole point since May.

I didn't think we would have a chance for Smith-Shuster , but yea I wanted Zay jones as well.
Really didn't have a clue about Kupp until we took him.

And this is one of many examples of why I no longer get upset on draft day.
I trust our front office and realize that I realllly suck at it.
A lot less stress now and I actually enjoy the draft more, because of my realization.

That's my plan. I wait until after the draft, then try to find reasons to get excited about who they picked. Way easier on my mental health this way

And personally I like Big Ben Skow and Jacob Harris better than Tutu

He is just so so small.

I have to avert my head every time he is about to be hit. I am scared to death he is going to look like the towel boy in the Waterboy.

Gotcha. I suppose if immediate impact was the goal, Tutu wasn't the best player available for the Rams.
But if the goal was to keep the pipeline of talented football players flowing in, then everything seems cool to me.
I hope so to man. My issue with that theory that I’ve even worked to try and look at it from all sides is Desean, Van, Trees, and Cooper is they at a minimum have 2 years on their contracts left, which means at a minimum TuTu will be in his 3rd year before he even has a shot at cracking playing time.

We are all familiar with Snead and McVay pretty good by now, do we think they wouldn’t draft another WR or sign or trade for a pretty good one that fell in their laps in 3 years? Hard to imagine they wouldn’t,

Just don’t see the upside to this premium pick.

I absolutely hope as an amateur fan the professionals make me eat some crow. Just seems this is not likely to happen in this situation,

It is about the pipeline. Which is why having some criteria that a 2nd round pick needs to play significant minutes or it's a wasted pick is not how this Organization works it's draft.

Honestly at that point in the draft I was really wanting them to take Kupp or Godwin, with the edge going to Godwin. I just thought he was dominating (especially in that game against USC, good lord). I was perfectly happy with Kupp however.

and you would have been more disappointed if he did fall to the rams because they were taking kupp there no matter what. and he's a better wr that fits into the rams culture.

i would have fucking died with the thought of that clown juju dancing in a rams uniform on the field and posting it like a teenage girl.
