Bojorquez, mostly because of Hekker tweet. He made it seem like he was on his way out.
It's Johnny, after all. No way in hell was he ever going to be involved in any situation without high drama.

Johnny: "The modern Slingin' Sammy Baugh sallies on! What would the Horns ever do without their favorite emergency QB and option passer?" :sunglasses:

Nothing really surprises me anymore! But, My most disappointing release was Kiser! I was thrilled when the Rams drafted him and was really hoping he could be the Rams next London Fletcher!!!

iF, He can ever stay healthy he might make some team pretty happy one day!

Yeah, I agree Bojorquez being traded was a surprise. I would have thought that if anyone gets traded it would be Hekker. Other than that the roster isn't much different than what I pictured it to be back at the beginning of OTAs. I think Jona Williams could be a monster in ways that perhaps a younger Brockers was. This guy is strong and much faster than Brockers.

I think Hoecht will develop into a good rotational 3T. Rochell and Harris will take huge steps next year but can contribute this year. I'm glad they kept 3 QBs though I expected it. Despite my expectations, it was the smart thing to do. Until I saw Perkins play I didn't realize just how much he's progressed in one year. His ability to read his progressions this year is night and day with last year. I can't wait to see how much progress he makes by next year.

Michel is someone I heard about being on the trade block a few days prior to the Rams acquiring him. In my mind, I thought he would be the perfect fit, but like so many times we think that and it never happens I frankly didn't think Snead would do it. I thought that because I thought the price would be much higher for a first-round pick who wasn't a bust, just didn't live up to their expectations. When the trade broke I was elated. Sony was the missing piece since Cam went down. Michel isn't as flashy as Akers but that isn't to say he isn't as good. His style is just different. Michel IMO will have a career year in LA. Now the run game will be as dangerous as the passing game. With Michel, Henderson, and Funk the Rams have an underrated RB room. These guys can make this run attack truly dangerous. McVay will have the offensive balance that he hasn't had since 2018.

This offense is far better than the Rams of 2018. This defense is also far better than in 2018. That's why I honestly think this team is ready to win a Lombardi now. There are no holes in this roster. Idiot pundits say there is a hole opposite Floyd. I say between Lewis, Hollins, and Williams they more than have that covered. Pundits point to ILB but Reeder is underrated and I think we will see Jones being paired with him. That IMO would be a very solid ILB tandem.

No, this team is ready now and that is no surprise....at least to me.

This reminds me of all those Greg Robinson posts a few years ago, but with less to actually base it on.

Rams are manipulating the IR and covid rules to stash players. No way they go into the season with just 4 OLB's, two of whom can't stay healthy. Skow clearly isn't healed from his broken arm but is on the 53 as if he is. Ten OL? No way they carry than many, but they have faniggled a way to hide a few.

Clearly the Rams front office is manuvering around the rules. This roster is far from set.

I was disappointed the Kiser was cut too. Although I understand it. Kiser has Reeder beat on physical measurables but Reeder is locked in. He knows where to be, even if it takes him a while to get there. Plus the whole availability thing must play a factor.
I liked Kiser too. But his health is too unreliable.
