Their are several players I like for various reasons Quinn and Donald because It seems No-One player can stop them, I admire JL's Leadership, and I Love the way TJ McDonald hits. But there's one Man who is without a doubt the Team Leader (MY Man) Chris Long!!!

Like CGI and others have said, this is a lot like picking your favorite child.

Tell you what. I'll play if you let me cheat.

For me it's a tie between Bailey, Ogletree, Gaines, and McDonald. All are just one play away from a jaw dropping moment.

Then again, I find myself looking at #99 at every snap on D.

Gawd! This is impossible...

#12 Stedman Bailey
#20 Lamarcus Joyner

....I had jerseys made up of these two from the NFL Shop I think before anyone else.

I also think Jamon Brown (OG, Louisville) is going to be great.

All around: The Mighty One
As a leader & off the field: White Lightning (aka Long)

Hekker is a trip and JL is the consummate pro. To echo similar sentiments from above, I don't really have an unquestioned #1 as I did when SJ was playing, etc.

I chose Aaron Donald because he's...well...Aaron Donald.

I love Robert Quinn, but the humility and work ethic that Donald has shown just makes me want to root for the kid. He's going to be special.

There's also something about Tre Mason that I love. I think it's because he's not the biggest RB out there, but he's not afraid to lower his shoulder and get a couple of extra yards. I love his toughness and he has enough speed to make big plays. Really if it weren't for Gurley getting drafted we would be excited about his prospects this year

It was sooooo close for me between Quinn and Donald. It's really a tie...but I could only pick one so I went with the old man. :)

Could I have just voted for the defensive line?

Since I can't, I chose Michael Brockers. He's been a great flexible DT for the team.

I don't have favorite players... I have a favorite team. ;)

There are certain characteristics I like in the players on my favorite team:
* Strong work ethic
* Smart
* Humility (act like you've been there before)
* Self-discipline (minimize mental errors)
Of course, they have to have talent.. none of the above matters is they are not talented (but that should go without saying ;)).

What I am not a fan of?
* Twitter idiots
* Trash talking
* Excessive (unnecessary) celebrating (like jumping up and down taunting the opponent when you're down 28-7 in the 4th quarter)
Sure, talent eases some of the annoyance of those traits for me... but the talent has to be high (think elite).

I'll say it first... I'm old school... :)

I think all of them have been my favorites at some point... and most have also been on my shit list. Once the play is over,,, the next play determines everything.

I couldn't agree more.

I want all the players to succeed. I want those players some fans are down on to succeed.

Most of all I want the team to win.

Aaron Donald. He's a short, less than 300 pounder and does things most can't do. He seems very durable and almost unstoppable. Ten years from now, I would surprised if he didn't go to 10 straight Pro Bowls.
