Gonna be rough at my work if the Rams lose this one. I work at a live music venue and Trombone Shorty is scheduled to perform on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you don't know this band you can probably figure out where they hail from.
On the other hand, oh the joy I can spread if the Rams are victorious, haha.

How cool! Trombone Shorty is the shit. My 14 year old plays the trombone and loves that guy. What a player.

I believe that it is bad form to talk shit BEFORE a game. If a person does that... I believe that it brings major bad juju to their team and basically guarantees an L.

Don't talk shit BEFORE a game my Brethren.

Hopefully there are plenty of aint fans out there flapping their lips right now.

I have a couple very good friends who are aints. One of them was talking shit to my wife earlier this week. Nice.

I also know this asshole who is an aint. He told me earlier this year that our Rams are just lucky and they're no good. Hahahahahahaaaaa.... thank you asshat!

Thankfully I don't know any, but last week before the game I was picking up beer and some Cowpie fan started giving me shit while also trying to flirt with me, I just gave him the stink eye and said, "I'm sorry sir I think you're lost" and walked off

Not getting crap, but Houston is full of Saints fans. I see them everywhere. Plus my company originated in New Orleans and has a huge following.

Oh and almost everyone in my department is from Louisiana.

And then theres me...the Rams fan from Oklahoma. Probably 1 of 2 Rams fans in this city.

When I wore my colors at work after that first game against the Aints a coworker tells me "My team beat yours" in a light-hearted joking manner. I started quizzing him on how long he liked them, he didn't even know who Bobby Hebert was. "Dude he's the QB from the 80s who always used to spit on his facemask!" Dude shrugs with a glazed look, couldn't even name their current players other than Brees, doesn't really keep up. Okay I got this guy, no worries haha. When I quiz them and they don't know crap, and I know more about their players than they do, it's like Mike Tyson punching a baby. So I consider him a non-fan and after that we don't talk football much. Just movies, work, and other stuff.

I always get the Patriots fans the same way by asking them who the QB was before Brady...about 70% get it wrong

A good pal of mine is a Saints fan and he’s flying today to go to the game. To be fair to him, he hasn’t really given me any crap. What I will say though is he flew out impromptu to Russia to watch England in the World Cup Semi-Final and they lost. I’m hoping history repeats itself and that he’s cursed!

I enjoy being reminded of that glorious day.

Stay strong @Juggs I can only imagine what your up against and I understand it as well....Empathize with the people and say to them, I understand, you don't have to root for them, but I will.

I wore my Warner jersey to the VA today and a lady behind me is from St Louis and is rooting for the Saints.

It was an okay conversation, but like many it devolved into her opinion and while I heard her, I dunno that she really head anything I had to say.

/shrug.

I was never in charge of anything, so I don't take it personally...

Belly Up Tavern? Did it used to be called something else about 15 years ago? My wife and I saw Dicky Betts in a place in Solana Beach when we were staying there. Love that area.

Yesterday I took a bunch of brown paper bags and cut holes for the eyes and then passed them out to all my friends who are Saints fans.

I told them " here, you'll need this AGAIN.

Neither do I and I totally understand...Ran into many when traveling that when donning a Ram polo, "Hey I'm from St. Louis and I can't forgive them." My response...."I get it, they said that when they left Cleveland for Los Angeles and when they left Los Angeles for St. Louis, what are you going to do? Loyalty it's my greatest weakness and strength."

Yeah, the BellyUp. Been around since ‘74 and that’s where you saw Dickie Betts for sure. Hell, I was probably there that night.
