Odds are somebody trades away their pick.So this is the first time in ages that all teams have their 1st round pick, not sure that’s a good thing in hopes of trading back.

I have no idea what you are talking about.Like a 7th round and a first round projection?![]()
atta boyI give the Rams a 45% chance of moving back in the 1st rd of the draft, a 35% chance of staying put, and a 20% chance of moving up.
Well if you read about the reply,it’s about starting over a regular starter going into the season.I'm at a loss over this. No 1st round pick under McVay? What the fuck was Verse. Usually takes 4 games for a Ram rookie to start? Wtf? Verse, Fiske, Young, Turner, Avila, Nacua all hit the ground running. Just so confused over this post.
I just realized you said hype. Hype is media BS. All that matters is where he was selected. 14th isn’t 5-10There's a big difference between top 5-10 pick consideration going into a season vs. just mere 1st round overall hype after a season and combine workout. Sure, it's a gamble either way. But, I like the odds of success better of the former vs. the latter.
Yeah, to me it comes down to CB, offensive weapon, or a QB that drops... and likley after trade down (except for the QB option which could actually include a small trade up).Rather go CB here or offensive weapon. The Rams also tend to draft positions they intend to replace going into the next year so there is that. I personally like Revel as he'd instantly upgrade our secondary from an athletic and physical standpoint. Adding a dynamic slot or a stud running back such as Judkins would also be awesome.
Yes. But you cannot guarantee any team wants to move back. I’m sure if there is no impactful player left on the board at 26, Snead would prefer to move back, but so would many other teams.Newsflash:
No rookie picked at #26 is going to come in and immediately start at CB, WR or TE or Tackle for that matter.
Loveland won’t be there.
Barron won’t be there.
TMac won’t be there.
Your best hope is Revel, who’s coming off an ACL.
This is why I am advocating moving back. Get another pick so you can get your swing tackle and your CB.
A slower than expected 40 time, positional value, & the needs of the teams selecting in that range probably helped.I just realized you said hype. Hype is media BS. All that matters is where he was selected. 14th isn’t 5-10
Pretty risky after two hip procedures.I like this
26. Rams: CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame — Having re-signed offensive lineman Alaric Jackson, and with the acquisition of star receiver Davante Adams, the Rams turn their attention to cornerbacks.

Sam Farmer's NFL mock draft 2.0: Need for QBs will create some surprises
Cam Ward isn't the only quarterback who might find out his fate in the top 10 of the 2025 NFL draft. Jaxson Dart and Shedeur Sanders also are piquing interest.sports.yahoo.com
Yeah, I don’t like taking injured players early in the draft. I don’t care how good they can potentially be.Pretty risky after two hip procedures.
Well Emmanwori is projected to go mid first round. Thats where Hamilton was picked at 14.A slower than expected 40 time, positional value, & the needs of the teams selecting in that range probably helped.
And all that really matters is how these players perform when they enter the league.
I guess so, but when he played total shutdown CB. Anyways, looking at other options as knowing who will be available. Saw another mock that had Kelvin Banks, Jr., at 26 which I would be head over heels for, but I doubt he makes it to 26.Pretty risky after two hip procedures.

I honestly don't believe that stance of no one wants to trade up. I think the reason that those trades don't happen is because teams that want to move back will ask for a lot in compensations and the team trading up doesn't want to give up a lot. Can't say I would blame Snead staying put if all he gets his shit offers to move back.Yes. But you cannot guarantee any team wants to move back. It very well could be that the Rams have to use the 26th pick and draft a guy they put a second or third round value on. In that case who do you take? Bech? Knight? Fanin?
I noticed his mock draft has Armand Membou going #31 to KC which probably won't happen unless he commits some crime before the draft, but I'd take him.I guess so, but when he played total shutdown CB. Pure RT IMHO, but he is good enough to challenge Havenstein on day one.I noticed his mock draft has Armand Membou going #31 to KC which probably won't happen unless he commits some crime before the draft, but I'd take him.
If the Rams can’t land an elite skill guy or corner at #26 I’m right there with you. Assuming they have no trade down partner. With all the moves early I think OT is still a need, this year for depth snd soon to replace Hav. Josh Simmons can play both sides and was exceptional in pass protection before his knee injury. Socal kid with experience in a top system seems like a great fit. Building the oline is always a priority for me.
