With all the moves early I think OT is still a need, this year for depth snd soon to replace Hav. Josh Simmons can play both sides and was exceptional in pass protection before his knee injury. Socal kid with experience in a top system seems like a great fit. Building the oline is always a priority for me.

I'm at a loss over this. No 1st round pick under McVay? What the fuck was Verse. Usually takes 4 games for a Ram rookie to start? Wtf? Verse, Fiske, Young, Turner, Avila, Nacua all hit the ground running. Just so confused over this post.
Well if you read about the reply,it’s about starting over a regular starter going into the season.
The poster (Texas Ram),was talking about the starter not filling a position VOID ?
Your points are very valid, and yeah Everett & John Johnson I used as examples of coming in a starting.Don’t know if there was a starter or a void looking back under Mcvay.

BTW - FISKkE is a crap example if you’re looking at starting over AD99.
Wasn’t Bobby Brown a starter as well ? EJ53 took awhile for Troy Reeder ?

There's a big difference between top 5-10 pick consideration going into a season vs. just mere 1st round overall hype after a season and combine workout. Sure, it's a gamble either way. But, I like the odds of success better of the former vs. the latter.
I just realized you said hype. Hype is media BS. All that matters is where he was selected. 14th isn’t 5-10
