With the Rams, we never know who may sit out completely.... so, who knows which of these guys don't end up playing.
I love the chance for an extended look at the guys who could develop into contributors for the Rams at some point.

I want to see a lot of the OL.. Bruss, Arcuri and Pircher, specifically. I think there's a good chance Jackson doesn't play.

Benton Whitley and Daniel Hardy at OLB. I think these two will get the vast majority of snaps and I think these two both have a legit shot at making the roster. Hardy's more hyped, but I keep reading/hearing good things about Whitley and he has the size for the position.

I hope we get to see a bunch of Derion Kendrick and Decobie Durant and Russ Yeast in the secondary.

Elijah Garcia is the guy I want to watch on the DL.

Yeah I would really like to see how Williams does at RB but doubt he plays much this first game

Hopefully he is healthy for either the second or third game

- I'm curious to see if Bruss or Shelton play per Jourdan. You prob need one of them to have snaps just cause of numbers but who plays, do we glean anything from that about the competition between the two (prob not... maybe?). As others have said, we won't probably know more until a week or two later in camp.

- Is Kyren Williams healthy enough to take some snaps Sat?

- Russ Yeast, has had his name checked a couple times during this first part of camp but got less attention than the others.

- Whitley and Hardy, they obviously have a future with the club, can they show that the future is now, perhaps?

- Tutu, does he keep the momentum going from this last week.

- Garcia (@Kupped), he's raw but we may need him till Brown comes back, how will he look?

- Less interested in Decobie and Kendrick only cause I think we have a pretty good idea with what we have in them.

Also, Powell on offense.

Edit: Okay, scratch that, per Mcvay just now, they aren't gonna play him in preseason and he banged his knee (not too worried). So he's out.

I would be absolutely shocked to see Shelton play. The Rams know who he is. Bruss? Well.. if he's been slow to develop, I think we could see him out there.
I hope we see Williams.. if nothing else, returning some punts.
I doubt we see Tutu.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought McVay said that he wants to see Tutu get snaps in preseason to see if he can continue his progress when the bullets are live.

I would think he gets most of that kind of work in the joint-practices.
Unless Wolford is playing, I don't see the value in playing any of the top 6 WRs, to be honest.

DBs for sure. The secondary is going to be key for us this year. I just want to see good coverage and the opposing QB not looking like Joe Montana. From all the camp reports I am expecting the secondary to be smooth and in good comms so hopefully they'll show out.

DL too. Hoecht showed some nice stuff last year, a little shake and bake on the interior. Ideally both he and Copeland will look good, and I also want to get a look at B Brown. Rams were so impressed with him in the draft, calling him an ass kicker and all. So we should at least feel him out there.

Lastly I will note that Perkins (who looks like he's at risk of being cut) had his best game of last year's preseason vs Staley's defense. If anyone needs a big game it's this kid. Plus if he looks like shit the game won't be as fun to watch but I guess we'll at least get great looks at the defensive depth that way.

I'm always interested in seeing the passing game in PS, this year no different. It will be boring, it will be vanilla, but still....

You know what? I completely forgot about Brown because of the suspension. Yup, I absolutely want to see where he is. He had a couple of "wow" moments last preseason and I want to see if he can do that more consistently.
I'm not as interested in Copeland and Hoecht, but only because we got to see them take plenty of snaps in the regular season and I think both can contribute. I think there's a small chance that one of them takes a "Morgan Fox" jump.

I'm just not that excited about watching Perkins this year, tbh.

After hearing his crappy camp, neither am I and I had hopes he would take a jump this year.

If he plays in the preseason the same way in camp - dump his ass.

I hope Wolford gets to play a half in the preseason to get his timing down so he can be ready as a back-up.

Last year, he didn't play at all in the preseason due to his appendicitis and it showed in the games he did play.

And Wolford, by all accounts, has looked sharp as hell in camp. I'm truly not worried about him at all.

Another player I neglected to mention... Ernest Brown. He was a tweener coming in.. I just wonder what he could be. Is he a guy who put on some weight and fully moved into the DL, as opposed to being an OLB?
