Okay, so we've been talking about rookies, vet acquisitions at WR, etc... but what I want to know is who you'd like to see take the next step. In the first three years it's normal but not always a given for many guys to take a step forward in their development, who would you like to see make that step - or take that leap! - and in what order.

1) Jared Verse: Verse had an electric first year where his bull rush caught everyone by surprise. A year of tape, lack of changeup rush and a middling secondary led to a regression in how he how he was able to affect the QB. He did improve as a run defender though from year one to two. Really want him to take another step with a changeup to his rush.

2) Terence Ferguson: Would love to see him own the playbook, continue his surprisingly fast development as a blocker, offer even more flexibility at Y TE and work on contested catch situations. It would be fantastic if he could show that he can run a more diverse route tree but I don't think that's gonna happen with how his athleticism is stacked.

3) Konata Mumpfield: Again, can the kid work on his hands? Can you put on a little weight to block better and muscle defenders in the run game and at the catch point. Seems like a good route runner, can he step it up even more. If he can take another step, we really don't have to worry about having the horses to run 11 personnel at will.

1. Omar Speights - Needs to improve coverage and sideline to sideline anticipation.

2. Special Teams on Punts - Since GSOT, I’ve never viewed the Rams as a team that is competitive in punt coverage. Gunners are left consistently unblocked on punts, and our gunners and players cannot get downfield fast enough for punt coverage. Hopefully the new coaching staff helps.

3. I’m with @WestCoastRam on Ferguson.
