Just fyi.. that's not correct. They just say it's rare that people get infected twice.. but that guidance was before Omicron started to rampage.
Ah gotcha. That makes sense. Like the flu or cold season now. Gonna get it. Sigh I just hope this testing and whatnot ends. Can't keep doing this every year

Sigh. This is an even bigger problem then the RT spot last game. Who legitimately has LT experience on our team besides those 2? Boom seems to have been on list a long time now. Vikes are no slouches when it comes to pass rush, league leaders in sacks I believe, so we need someone that can do at least an average job there? Edwards?

We're close to manageable and "living with it."
Vaccines, two new pill therapies.. we're almost there.

So, if no Boom, who? Jackson played almost every snap there in preseason.

this season is becoming a joke more than the last one. Its becoming as pointless as the strike seasons with the scab players. The best teams wont win-the teams with the least “positives” to their good players will

Was kind of hoping this wasn't going to bite us anymore. Large order these days I know.

It may take some time but this appears to be like the Common Cold virus of which there are now over 200 variants of this coronavirus. With this last Covid variant being mild symptoms as most Colds are with an occasional major symptom.

This is all about managing health care. Not whether one gets sick or not. The anti-virals will help much with this. And has always been the pathway out of this. I can't recall our world vaxing our way out of a pandemic. Natural immunities will temper its spread more than the vaccines which do have their place.

The seasonal Flu is a different bread of cat.

If you want to read something interesting, think Covid while reading this. It may give some hope for where we are, and where we will end up.

I wonder if they would actually start Evans at LT? Stafford might not survive if they do
I would hope they know better. If it's not Boom, though, you're probably talking TE assistance on at least half the dropbacks.

Zimmer is a shitty HC but he's a smart defensive mind. If we have a weakness at LT he'll go after it.

Not trying to down play Big Whit being gone for this game but the big fellow will probably benefit having an extra week off this late in the season.

Boom at LT & Havs at RT will have to get the job done.
I'm inclined to agree.

We could look back on all these positive tests as a *good thing* presuming we make the playoffs.

Are there any teams unscathed relatively as of now does anybody know?

A good friend of mine had it in March last year and tested positive today. Different strains I'd imagine like the flu or any cold.

The first US death from omicron had had delta.

He had covid already and had been vaxed according to mcVay. So I'm confused. I thought if you been vaxed they wouldn't be testing players unless they are symptomatic??? I find it weird they are still widely testing players.
Also the CDC released on their site that there had been no evidence that you could be infected twice. Something to the fact that it is either a false positive or the fact that the pcr test and others couldn't distinguish the difference between covid and some flu strains... I'd post a link but I don't want to be banned from a thread.
You can get infected twice, especially if you get vaccinated after the 1st time.

Not inappropriate

I did not know or must have forgotten that Whit has had it before.

I wonder if Notebloom gets cleared tomorrow if has been kept ready just in case.

Talk about the one player besides Stafford that has us on our heals already.

Omicron appears to have very mild symptoms and much less severe than the Delta variant.
I'm not sure if I'd call it mild as I was sick as fuck as of Tuesday and still have some lingering symptoms. I'm vaccinated plus boosted. Will find out soon if it's a bad flu or COVID. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's the flu cuz it's definitely kicking my ass.

I would hope they have a better backup plan then Evans. who ever it is I hope they keep a TE/6th Oline on the Left side for the majority of snaps. Max protection and run the ball a ton, don't want to see Stafford get blindsided.

Maybe you have the delta variant?
