Confession. I am so underwhelmed with the players in this draft that I may be changing my mind on drafting Tyson. I hate the injury history, but at least he'd be taking a shot at greatness.

With other options, I don't feel strongly that whoever we get at 13 will amount to anything more than average, at best. @El Chapo Jr
Looking like he may not make it to #13 now.

This is video of a nrl player assaulting police. He was charged for assaulting police.

Nobody had a clue what happened but if he was charged for assaulting police, it must have been bad.

So when the court case finally arrived a couple of years later this vision was shown in court. It shows him sleeping under a tree and an officer flicking his ears. He shoos the hand away.

Obviously the case was thrown out of court. Moral of the story, don't take the police report as gospel.

I disagree. Interaction with law enforcement is the most common way Americans will experience the coercive authority of government. If none of us are willing to stand up for our freedoms, we will soon no longer have our freedoms. The founders understood that. I'll leave it there.

Wow, what a crap take of the situation.
Although I agree with most of what you said as a general statement (government in media and regulating social media a few years ago likely being the most common way Americans experience coercive aurhority of government being my difference), in THIS case that's not what is happening.

He was told to move to so people could freely enter and exit a business entrance.
Don't be a jerk - just move and allow your fellow citizens to go about their day.

In Branch's defense, I recently heard that he's really focused on football and does the little things to make himself better. I liked hearing this.
Being an immature kid wouldn't keep me from drafting him.

Absent video footage or witness testimony, I can't know it for a fact. But I can read the police report and come to my own conclusions.
I respect what you had posted earlier and many react that you should treat authorities with respect and I agree, however, they should treat you with the same respect. Now, if you are under the influence, it does not change.

I have been pulled over multiple times for speeding infractions and have always treated authorities with respect and they have responded accordingly. But when I wore a younger man's clothes back in the Air Force, they were different pulling over military as they always thought the driver was drunk and the treatment was different back then. I was never driving under the influence, but my friends obviously had a few too many and the officers were disappointed actually, that I was not and instead of commending me, informed me how lucky I was I did not drink that night and they pulled us over just because they said we had multiple people in the vehicle and it happened more than once, so I have been on both sides, although, never totally disrespected lime some.

A police officer arrested Branch for standing on a public sidewalk and then smirking and not moving far enough after the officer told him to move? That's a nothingburger for me. Sounds like a cop on a power trip.
We often hear statements like this, just to be proven wrong by body cam footage.

Automatically assuming the cop is the problem?
I don’t buy it.

I don’t like cops, and many I have interacted with, but I do have enough common sense to respect the authority. You’re asking for trouble if you handle the situation otherwise.

Interacting with law enforcement is NOT the time and place to question or exhibit your anti authority, or even your feelings or opinions on freedoms.

Follow instructions and shut the fuck up.
Agree. In todays environment cops are more on edge than ever. We all would be wise to give them a wide berth.

What about the common courtesy of moving if you are blocking an entrance/exit? Any consideration for fellow citizens? Or does he have position like like a basketball defender in the paint?

From what I had read, this was following the Spring Football game, the area was packed with people, Branch and others were obstructing the flow of pedestrians in a crosswalk, they were told to move and they refused. That can be a safety issue and the cops were well within their right to arrest him for obstructing traffic flow and ignoring a lawful order.
