Initially I thought, meh, not that interested since we are loaded up at TE. But, you look at his combine results and my lord, he's a demon. 1.59 split, 45.5" vert, 11'3" Broad are pretty unreal for his 6'4 240lb frame. Even the 4.51 40 is pretty great for his size. If the man is a good route runner (I can't personally comment on that), he could certainly be looked at as a WR that can at least block a bit.

Watch his tape. They used him everywhere.

Also and btw... He has zero chance to get to 61. No way in hell that will happen.

I'm more interested in the guys who will be day 2/3 picks
Fields, Lance, Surrat and Branch

Usually I am as well.
But my interest has been tempered by the fact that we don't have any 4th or 5th round picks (at the moment).

But I like speculating on those good players that we tend to know something about who are available in rounds 2-4.

He's a WR I'm interested in in round 2, think he prob lasts till the end of it.

He's raw. Should drop weight and just focus on receiver. Can't block for sh*t.

The more I look at this class of receivers, and the more I see how weak our receiving corps is after Puka and Adams, the more I want to double down, even if it's in the first and second rounds.

I'd be perfectly fine with Lemon at #13 (if he's there; the more I'm reading, the less I'm certain he and Tate will be there), but the larger part of me wants a smaller trade-down to get Cooper Jr. or Concepcion. I think that they'd be perfect fits in our system. Tyson, I'd be fine with, assuming the Rams' medical staff checked him out and gave the okay. Boston, I'd be okay with, if we could work on his separation issues.

Thinking that with #61 we could take Brazzell II, Bell, or even Fields. If we're waiting for #93, Sarratt (if he's even there), Hurst, or Lance would be my choices. Stribling is tempting - and I wouldn't necessarily say "no" if we traded down in the fourth to get him - but I see him more as a Whittington type: great blocker, not an elite receiver. Lane has his issues, but I wouldn't say "no" to him either in the fourth.

I just don't want Branch under any circumstances.

2 weeks and a day out from the Draft and feeling its one of Lemon, Sadiq, Tyson at 13 with a small dash of Cooper. Getting a stronger Sadiq/Rams feeling for some reason.

Surprise Offensive Line pick also lurking.....

I don't know if it's a particular WR, more that we need to come out of the draft with at least two good prospects who can push guys like Whittington and Mumpfield off the roster. I'm sure Snead can find better talent even starting in the 3rd round. I expect to see two or more WR's taken with our allotment of selections.

I agree that adding a quality WR is important but to have a viable alternative should Nacua or Adams go down to injury.

No need to push Whittington or Mumpfield ‘off the roster’. Both are good depth pieces. Cheap and young. Both were late selections … Whittington in the 210s, and Mumpfield in the 240s.

They are both useful players, IMO, provided they are more the 4th, 5th or 6th WRs; and not the 3rd WR, which is a quasi-starter.

Of all the WRs in this draft, Concepcion is the one guy I hope we avoid.
Something about him stikes me as gimmicky and unreliable.
Too many drops and skittish over the middle - no thanks.
He is also a speed element we lack. In addition, perhaps the best returner of the top end WR's. I think he'd be a great fit myself, after a short trade down.

I feel like the pick is Fano if he's still on the board, but I'm thinking he won't be. Lemon would be my next though, but I also am starting to expect him to be gone. Cooper Jr is who I come back to.
I'm feeling Cooper Jr more and more at 13.
Agree. It just feels like a fit. Is there a better WR after the catch in the draft? My only hiccup on him is he has only had 1 season of great production.

Someone put a vid up of Cooper Jr and I was very impressed albeit it’s edited to show all the good bits. I don’t watch any college football but after seeing the vid I’m all in.
