After seeing how both Yates & Kiper, Jr. described Jordyn Tyson, I came away comparing him to Cooper Kupp, except with more height and athleticism but less football IQ, given that both testified to his ultra-competitive mindset and team-first attitude. The reason I'm making such a comparison is because Kupp's approach to the game--especially during his time with the Rams and performance in our Super Bowl win--seemed to have shortened his career, which I guess could apply to Tyson given his sacrificial conduct.

As far as I can tell, Kupp only had to deal with an ankle injury during his sophomore season, which he played through, according to his NFL draft profile:

2017 NFL Draft Profile: Cooper Kupp

2026 NFL Draft Profile: Jordyn Tyson

While weighing the pros and cons of investing premium draft capital into a prospect who could be quite productive immediately but fade away for an early and short-term peak, I can't help but be won over by the idea of "rolling the dice" on Jordyn Tyson, especially with an optimistic vision of another Kupp-like run with our current window to compete for a championship.

Obviously, it's beyond reasonable to expect Tyson to be the next Kupp, but I do like the aforementioned similarities and a lot of the differences actually favor Tyson.

What can I say? I'm on the Jordyn Tyson hype train. All aboard!

I’m on my phone and old so I don’t have the ability to research this, but what’s the success rate of 1st round WRs over the last 5 years?

I keep thinking of all the hype and not many are standing out.

When you narrow that list down to the top half of the first round, the success rate is shockingly good with almost all of those picks becoming starting caliber WRs. Really the only busts that were picked in the last 5 years were towards the bottom of the first round. Recent history says a WR picked at 13 is going to be a good player.

Hey Boston’s eponymous debut album was one of the greatest albums of all time and the Band leader invented technology that is now widely used to make it (He was an MIT graduate)

Great…now I gotta go blast “More Than A Feeling”…look what you did!
“It’s been such a long time”…
Since I heard that album

Yeah, that’s a good hit rate.

I don’t want to get cute. We need a WR.

Keep saying Tyson is the best. Surprised he ranked Concepcion over Tate and Lemon, but Concepcion does look crazy explosive on his tape.

Yeah, but nobody on the planet is arguing with you that Tyson is the most talented WR in this draft,,,

We’re arguing that he’s constantly hurt. At this point we will see world peace before we see Jordyn Tyson without an injury. How long does a hamstring take to heal? Is he trying to purposely drop to a better team than the top 10 teams? Because he IS a top 10 talent…

I would rather have someone slightly less talented but is available than to be counting on this man to survive to and through the playoffs

The juice is worth the squeeze with Tyson IMO. He's the only real WR that projects as a #1. He may in fact being trying to dodge the albatross that is the NY Jets. Guess we will see on 4/17
