Technically, he already has one that wasn't utilized a ton last season. I think Ferg is going to be a beast next season when he and Staff are on the same page.
Yeah, but with two of those guys? Holy shit.

He's the best WR in the draft in my opinion. As long as he clears those medicals, he's gonna be a star in this league, but hey that's just my humble opinion.Tell him to be careful putting his hands down, don't want him getting hurt.

Could care less if he's doing drills. The medical is way more important. If he checks out there, I'm all for drafting him. Is it possible he wasn't able to work out that whole time he was out with the initial injury? Maybe he wants to get in the best shape possible to show out at his pro day? I think this is extremely possible based on the fact that this is essentially the biggest "job interview" of his career. He’s not even doing drills because of a pulled hamstring. Hes the clear cut best receiver, but the best ability is availability. I’m not drafting him if it were my choice. There’s too many good players to spend the 13 on an injury prone WR
First time I watched one of their games was to get a look at the QB. Ended up focused on the wideout. He's the best WR in the draft in my opinion. As long as he clears those medicals, he's gonna be a star in this league, but hey that's just my humble opinion.
That's why I believe what I believe. Anytime I watch his tape he just really stands out. Some of the things he does cannot be coached. I also believe he'd be super NFL ready as his receiver coach was Hines Ward. Those medicals need to come back good though.First time I watched one of their games was to get a look at the QB. Even though we are talking about late pick vs 1st, Puka's inury history was horrible as well....injury history in college doesn't predict everything. If the Rams think they can better manage his aches and pains, why should they be scared to draft him? Before saying we shouldn't take a chance on anything like that, isn't any player we take on technically a chance taken? Tyson has shown legit star potential/production..... that's what I'm ok with betting on if his medicals check out.Well, yes, but the concern remains. In your statement we’re talking about injuries.
It’s not that he doesn’t get cleared, it’s that he has a history of injuries. Getting cleared isn’t the hard part, it’s staying healthy. Track record says that’s not his strong suit.

That's the risk. But on the other side of the equation, you have a WR who has rare movement skills and the potential to be one of the best route runners in the NFL (if not the best). None of the WR prospects are perfect. I thought Tyson was the most impressive, so I'm sticking with my gut here. Obviously, if the Rams find medical red flags, that's a different story.Well, yes, but the concern remains. In your statement we’re talking about injuries.

If Tyson checks out medically, I'm going Tyson before those 2. As jrry32 said it so perfectly, Tyson was the most impressive. Anyone that watches his film can easily see why he's so highly thought of.Puka is a rarity. And even he has missed time. And while yes he has shown legit star potential, he’s not the only one in the draft that has. If we had Tate, Lemon, and Tyson all sitting there, while I like Tyson’s skill set best, I’m taking him after the other two…but missing nearly 48% of your college games is concerning.
I think injury history in college is a strong but imperfect predictor of injuries in the pros.Even though we are talking about late pick vs 1st, Puka's inury history was horrible as well....injury history in college doesn't predict everything. I say its definitely a toss up as the type of injuries can definitely play a role but doesn't guarantee success nor failure....unfortunately football is an extremely physical sport where anyone can be taken out with the right hit under bad circumstances.... examples of college players with successful careers after being injured in college.....Frank Gore, Fred Taylor, Gronk, Willis McGahee, and so far Puka. I could be missing some folks but injury history isn't end all be all. I agree, it will be interesting to see what Tyson's medicals show. I think his talent level is one of a superstar but if he comes back with medical red flags, I totally get passing on him, otherwise, I think it's a mistake to.I think injury history in college is a strong but imperfect predictor of injuries in the pros.
Puka is the exception to the rule and if he wasn't then he would have been drafted much higher.
Some injuries are bigger predictors of future injury than others so - as you say - will be interesting to hear how his medicals check out.
"FRAGILE Fred Taylor" as he was called in the NFL.I say its definitely a toss up as the type of injuries can definitely play a role but doesn't guarantee success nor failure....unfortunately football is an extremely physical sport where anyone can be taken out with the right hit under bad circumstances.... examples of college players with successful careers after being injured in college.....Frank Gore, Fred Taylor, Gronk, Willis McGahee, and so far Puka. Fred Taylor actually had a pretty bad knee injury in college. Ya just never know."FRAGILE Fred Taylor" as he was called in the NFL.
All the other guys are nice exceptions to the rule.
It's a bad sign. If I didn't have such a high opinion of Tyson, I'd agree we should stay away.I think injury history in college is a strong but imperfect predictor of injuries in the pros.
