Yeah. Taking a 9ers home game away from LA is bullshit. They shouldn't do divisional matchups for these off shore games.

Anything is possible but lets look at some of those teams.

Eagles biggest need is pass rush and just as big of a need could be IOL. There's grumblings that 2 guys could retire after their OL coach was forced out.

Raiders obviously go Mendoza at 1. Then they have 2 big needs after that in OL and WR so they could take one at the top of the 2nd but for my money you protect your rookie franchise QB.

Jets desperately need a RT and there are a lot of them in this draft. After that they traded away their two best defenders so could replace them. Also yes they need a WR a TE and might need an RB as well. Cold take anything.

Browns literally need everything on O and could take anything and have 2 1st rounders.

Chiefs really need a pass rusher and could use an RB as well. WR could be a need depending on the Rice situation.

Bills absolutely should draft a WR no ifs ands or buts about it also need front 7 help.

Cowboys even if Pickens walks need D help there's no way to deny that. Just one number for you and that's 511. They gave up 511 points and we scored 518. They need D or it doesn't matter who they have at WR.

Steelers could use a QB even if Rodgers comes back maybe Simpson? After that I see Steelers fans say OL, WR and Cb as equal needs.

Free agency could change everything but I think we can wait for our 2nd rounder for a WR.

The Rams can certainly wait because their roster is fairly solid on offense, but they will be losing a couple WRs and Adams has just one more year on his contract. With Stafford as our QB, top of the line weapons won’t be wasted. Thats why I would be more surprised if they passed on a WR in the 1rst (that’s if they keep both picks).

As for your breakdown on the other teams, completely sensible.
So I guess that half of those teams will NOT follow that path.

I trust the Rams and Snead, after all waiting isn't the worst thing in the world with our best WR being a 5th round pick. Add to that the WR's predicted to be 2nd round picks are upgrades over everybody but Puka and Davante.

Huge fan of Elijah Sarratt and Chris Brazzell II (and if Malachi Fields can be coached up, I'd pounce on him with our late second), but honestly, I'd be happy with any of the above.
When the dust settles, three years from now, Elijah Sarratt will be one of the biggest produces from this class provided he lands somewhere with a decent QB. With Stafford, look out! He could be a huge add in this offense

If we take one up top my choice is Makai Lemon who’s a safe bet to play well, consistently, for years in LA

Another WR I haven't seen anybody here mention in a mock or a simulator is Antonio Williams.

More of a slot receiver he's 5'11" 190 lbs and around a 4.45 forty time. Good hands and a good route running kit. Wasn't ever much of a blocker or asked to do it a lot at Clemson. Could sniff the first round but a likely early 2nd rounder.

This is just a deep WR draft class. Here's another good WR few, if any, even talk about.

Yeah, while watching Bernard this year, I thought, "This guy looks like a McVay WR." Physical, effective blocker; hard to take down after the catch; thickly built; and a good route runner.

If Tate falls to us I would be shocked. But he'd be my number one.

Would stretch the field for us, provides great route running and elite contested catch ability.

On a side note, I'm still a little intrigued by Tru Edwards. I hate he missed time in training camp with an injury.

Agree. He has size, looks like a solid route runner. You can see that he doesn't have the suddeness of a top WR, but he certainly can be a solid #4 WR. Probably more polished than Whittington.

The problem is your WR depth needs to help on STs and he doesn't seem to have that skillset. He will probably be fighting Mumpfield, and any WR taken later in the draft this year, for a spot.

In fact, if they don't take a WR later in this draft, say they take Lemon or Boston early, but no one later, than it could be because they think this kid can stick.
