On the morning of the draft - I’m feeling Tyson as WR1

KC Concep is my WR2

Lemon is WR3

I don’t have to have any of them - I think there are day 2 WRs that make a ton of sense - and each of these 3 has valid reasons why they shouldn’t be the guy - just kind of what I’m feeling at this moment.

Short area quickness - winning in the first 10 yards - that seems like what this offense needs and uses more than anything.

Just take one of the bigger framed wideouts in this class. There's plenty to choose from. Take one of them, and preferably one that will be able to replace Adams in a year, but who will for now excel in the in breaking routes, hands in the redzone, sideline in 4 minute, etc.

Finally someone else seeing the truth of Tate. IMO the least likely of the 1st round WR's to be a pro bowler/All pro level. He's a pretty safe bet, drafting him is going for a double. I have Cooper above him as well.

Yeah, just watched the Steve Smith video. He loves him some Burks and he would be quite a value. Strange how low he is on Cooper and it has changed my opinion a bit. I can't possibly claim to know more then SS.

I like him a lot but as Smith point out he has work to do on the route tree. As with every player it all comes down to what McVay think but I think Yarbs can coach the kid up.
Conception is starting to rise on boards since they started talking to their insiders but who knows what’s real and what’s fake right now

I just don't like the drops at all and in fairness he's not the only one with that issue but it's all in McSneads hands now.

How about we trade down and take either Cooper or Concepcion? Or, for my money, Bernard even later

There are a lot of moves we could make with more capital as well as draft an impact WR. Like trading up from 61 for two impact players

"Everybody expects the Lions sitting there at 17, everyone knows what their need is," Pelissero said. "If you want your preferred tackle -- it's not one of those guys going right at the top -- get above them, go to 15 or 16 and see if you can get something done."

I'd bet the Rams love Concepcion and Bernard. Hope they get some good trade down offers.

Bernard has grown on me but I think my favorite WR now is Hurst I just wonder where he'll get picked.

It's funny because i literally just read one of these ESPN jokers say the opposite -- KC is falling.

Let me find it. lol -- Mel Kiper smh. these guys throw everything against the wall and flip/flop...then they can point back and say they were right (sure).
  • Four prospects might be losing a little ground late in the process. Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy might slip to Round 2 as he comes off a torn ACL. Two Texas A&M teammates -- receiver KC Concepcion (injuries, drops) and edge rusher Cashius Howell (shorter arms) -- also seem like Day 2 guys now. And Tennessee edge rusher Joshua Josephs might now be a Day 3 prospect.

I forgot that KC had to have a knee clean out this offseason. Guess that could spook some teams. Hope it does and we get him in the 2nd.

The thing that bothers me about Jeremiah's criticism/concern about Jordyn Tyson was that he later acknowledged his hypocrisy by saying he liked Jermod Mcoy as a selection shortly after in spite of his respective injuries. This despite Tyson's injury, unlike McCoy's, did not involve any degenerative issue and appearing more coincidental than anything else. He even seemed to take issue with people saying he was tough even as Mina Kimes recognized both Tyson and McCoy as the most talented players at their respective positions.

Jeremiah is the only one out of the most recognized and trusted draft analysts to question Tyson's toughness among Kiper, Jr., Yates & McShay. That didn't sit well with me at all.

Soooo...now which WR are we liking as a possible 2nd round pick?
I still like Branch. I would say he might be the most NFL ready.
Chris Bell and the guy from TN are interesting.
Simpson's ex teammate is also a possibility.
...and Stribbling, of course.
