Keep going…

There are plenty of great prospects who follow

I still think we pull another Cooper/Puka and take a player later who outplays most of those taken before because we seem to have an eye for WR, because of McVay and because of Stafford
Quite possible. And that is what we have always done under McVay. But this is the first time we've been in a spot where we have access to options who have a bit more upside potential.

So this is why I am hoping for more this year. I'd like an impact player of the type they usually can't find in rounds 2/3. Meaning not a slot.

Eh, this isn’t 2022/2023.
Trading down multiple times to gain more picks to restock the groceries in a weaker draft…not a fan of that strategy this year.

If anything, move up a couple times and grab two or three better players that the staff feels can contribute immediately.

Staying put could work too.

The resident draft pick hoarding club members won’t agree with me. “More picks is always better!”
.

I still like Omar Cooper, Jr., better then Sadiq because IMO, Cooper will have more of an impact in year one and is like stronger Robert Woods, who can break more tackles.

Perfect plan, trade down with the Panther at 19, pick up a 3rd and 4th and then draft Cooper.
That's a good trade, another decent one the Rams trade #13 and #61
Carolina trades #19, #51 and #83

If you can swing it.
You would be a daisy if you did.

If they go receiver Lemon would be my first choice. Seems like he'd be a smaller version of Puka with enough speed to make big plays. Some people were turned off by that interview. Felt is was a red flag. Others see it as his competitive nature. He's intense and wants to win. I believe its the latter. He's not lacking in confidence thats for sure.
I think this guy is uber talented BECAUSE of his competitive nature. I agree, that came across. He doesn’t seem like the type of individual who is easily intimidated.

He just sounded fucking dumb. I’m sorry, but he really turned me off in that regard. The Rams, hell, the pros in general, run some sophisticated stuff. Can he get it? That’s what it comes down to me. Only those who have interviewed him behind closed doors can elaborate on this.

I don’t doubt his talent. I doubt his ability to play in a complex offense. If the Rams draft him I will consider myself on the wrong path and welcome him.

I honestly think that the media is overvaluing WRs this year. Theres no clear No1 wr even tho I like some prospects. I like them starting in the early 20s to late teens. I wouldn't reach if I were the rams
Had the Rams not traded away the #29 pick NOT THAT IM COMPLAINING I could easily see a very good WR still available there.
Now that the Rams are drafting at #13 and not again until #61(barring any trades), one would have to consider that if a player is “your guy”, you just grab him. If it’s a WR, so be it.

Words like “reach” and “value” have their meaning determined by the level of success achieved by that player. No matter who the Rams pick at #13, he has to be good. Really good.
