Point stands. If Bennett can get drafted in rd 4, no reason why a team wouldn't think Allar wasn't worth a 4th rd pick.

And I didn't say the Rams had a 4th rd pick...at least at this point. That could change on draft day. Draft picks do change hands you know.
A team very well could. I don't want that team to be the Rams. You're making the argument that some team might value Allar. The people saying that they consider him to be a 7th round pick are saying that THEY don't value Allar. These are different points.

Would you rather have Bennett sitting on the bench developing into your long term starter or Allar sitting and developing? Assume they are both rookies. Which would you want here in that situation?
Neither are a starter imo

Good Lord, all of you are way too hard on Stetson Fleming Bennett IV, way too hard!
What's funny is that I find Stetson an easy guy to root for (and I'm not even sure why) and hope he proves us all wrong. I'm just not myopic enough to believe that will happen. But I think it would be great if it does.

Big kid, great arm, some mobility. I remember him looking very good for most of 24', throwing to Warren. Maybe I didn't watch him enough, but at that time I was hoping the Rams would get a shot at him.
And I think the argument is that a lot of his accuracy could be fixed with fixing his feet which is the easiest issue to fix when it comes to QB accuracy vs throwing motion/anticipation etc...

The QB has to really want it to fix mechanics, because that shit is hard to do. It's not just doing a bunch of drops and it becomes second nature. It's training your mind into that mechanical groove so when you face heat from a rusher or things go against you at live speed you don't regress to what your natural tendencies are.

Strong arm terrible mechanics

Looks like Tarzan plays worse than Jane.

much easier to do with footwork than arm mechanics from what I've heard but still you're having to change something about how the guy plays QB
