Lets see how it shakes out. If Mendoza is a bust he called it. None of the other pundits are calling that. His credibility will be based on his record.
He has no credibility and plenty of people have doubts about Mendoza, especially because of the situation he's walking in to.
What credibility does he have? He's wrong every year about who he thinks will be top QB's. That's what a talent evaluator is for, tell me who's going to be good. His record on that is deplorable.

Fair enough. Love his call of dropping Lawrence when quotes from friends and family stated he doesn’t LOOOOVE Football. 70% hit rate, lets see what happens. When Mendoza busts remember who said it.....
Doing his diligence and getting that quote out of Lawrence's family would be great work by the scout. Feather in his cap for sure, as I didn't recall hearing that with Lawrence. But Lawrence just had his best season. So what happens if he goes on to a top career over the next decade which is possible. Much is still TBD.

Funny thing about Mendoza is my biggest criticism of him is he is a fuckin dork. He reminds me a little of Payton Manning, smart kid who is gonna stop at nothing in terms of doing the work. Manning also had the size you want with a "good enough" arm. Mendoza is a better athlete though, stronger too, and can get you yards when he needs them on the ground.

I think if you're expecting Mendoza to bust you're in for a painful ride. Granted the Raiders could fuck up a wet dream. But if they take Mendoza their fortunes are going to change, at least on offense, because he's gonna live in the film room and bust his ass to improve like Payton did.

He's a Goofball. He's also skinny-ish. He will be nothing like P. Manning. His last year at Indiana will be the best season of his career. Style wont play in pro's. One read/First read Quarterback.

All, in my humble OPINION, of course.....

He correctly had Nix and Maye 1st round even though theyre 4th and 5th. He correctly had burgeoning Bust Jayden Daniels in 3rd Round. Caleb, we'll see, not overly impressive, miracle play against our brain-dead Defense notwithstanding.

Rattler still has a chance to be something, if we graded after 2 years Darnold's a bust, right?
What? In what way is Jayden Daniels a "burgeoning Bust"?

He's a skinny, running Quarterback who doesn't know how to protect himself. Doesn't impress me from the pocket whatsoever. Looked LOST this season. His rookie year was his best we will see going forward IMHO. RG the 4th, incoming.

The poster is giving him props for calling maye & Nix first rounders- even though he had them ranked 4-5th for QBs. In what world are you giving someone props for saying Maye will be a 1st rounder?!?

Someone is spending too much time reading dopes on the internet. At least it’s funny.

A little late February boredom perhaps.....

I like Kelly's self proclaimed 70% success rate, while claiming that Shedeur Sanders and Spencer Rattler were the #1 QB's of the last 2 drafts

Probably nothing but Vinny mentioning Drew Allar was interesting.

Taking a flyer on him in the mid rounds if certain things check out wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Kid has never had legit QB coaching from high school to college. Has a pretty low floor but outside of Mendoza the highest ceiling of all the QBs in this class.

The variance is just astronomical!

If he had to start a few games his 1st season you might ruin him.

What, we can't project, or predict now? I predict that Jayden Daniels will be a colossal bust.
If he keeps running and hurting himself, he could be another RG3. But unlike RG3 - he doesn't have to run around for 5 minutes before he finds a receiver. So we will see if he busts or not dependent on if he keeps hurting himself.

I felt the League adjusted to him, and that this past year, it looked to me like, he didnt know what to.... "do."
