Of course notAre we forgetting the Super bowl Burrow played in against us?
That's exactly why ... with one more disappointing, non-playoff year in 2026 ... Burrow could ask for a trade.Honestly, with a D like that, its tough to get into the playoffs. He'd have it MUCH better here.
He would be thirty years old, with four straight non-playoff seasons. He could be frustrated; and even Cincinnati might consider a change (cap space and draft choices) a viable strategy.
I have been promoting this idea for almost a year. Last year, at this time, I wrote that it was not even a possibility until 2027; and the Bengals needed to have two more disappointing years. Well, they just had one.
Another point to consider is that the Bengals would probably prefer to trade Burrow out of the AFC.
It's still a long-shot but not as unlikely as my other Stretch Dream Scenario ... Me and Ana de Armas!
