Steeler fans are more delusional than Ravens and Bengals fans from my experience.

Then you must've been around the token obnoxious fans that are found with every team.

Watch how Bengal fans reacted during the meltdown in their playoff. THat's them in a nutshell.

Ravens fans are just annoying.

The Steeler fans were even more annoying during that meltdown. Refusing to accept that their team benefited from a bad call and that Joey Porter did anything wrong. Bengals fans aren't delusional from my experience. They tend to be pessimists. Like Browns fans. But less pessimistic because their team has actually been winning.

Cool story.

This Steeler fan thinks throwing trash at injured players supersedes ref calls. Also having their own damn stadium PA announcers telling them to calm down.

Rams, who else could convince themselves that after 11 years of failure that this year really will be our year.
Was coming in here to say this, just not in that context. I'd say there's something endearing about the kind of optimistic delusion we've allowed ourselves to fall into. (y)

That's not being a delusional fan. Cleveland fans were known for throwing things. They're the opposite of delusional.

And no, throwing trash at injured players doesn't supersede ref calls. Ref calls have an effect on the outcome of a game.

Yep, with the front seat view that I have here, i must say i hear and see some amazing things from Eagle fans and local media, who are also very delusional.

This year it hit an all-time high when based on one half of a preseason game in Green Bay, when the Eagles played a great half and Bradford looked sharp in his only extended play of the preseason, media and fans alike felt they were the team to beat in the NFC. Never taking into account teams do not game plan for that high tempo offense in preseason. And nevermind the fact that their roster is very mediocre and full of holes.

The problem is they live in a bubble and just are very ignorant of the rest of the league. Just today, I heard on local sports talk that Fletcher Cox is probably the best DL next to JJ Watt. People here don't even know who Aaron Donald is. The general feeling is here the Eagles have one of the bestfront 7's in the NFL.

Before this past season the fans and media already anointed Nelson Agalor as a rookie of the year candidate and felt their WRs would be among the best in the league and possibly be one of the best groups they ever had here.

So it gets pretty bad, hell they were calling Kelly the next Bellicheck right up until they finally bailed half-way through the season this year after the blowouts became a regular weekly event.

The nature of being a fan makes it tough to remain 100% objective and honest. Every year after a Rams season I look back and in retrospect recognize certain realities about the team that I should've recognized earlier. Not very often they win as many games as I think they're going to.

My experience with Dallas, Philly, Seattle and New England fans over the years has been much different than what's being related here. There are boorish, obnoxious, outre fans in those cities; but you'll find those characters in every NFL city.

I'll go to any sports bar, crack a beer and watch the game with any fanbase in America; because at the end of the day, the only real difference between us is the teams we root for.

Their media doesn't help like Sal Paolantonio for example is listed as a Philadelphia based reporter and it should be Philadelphia biased reporter.

Good example of Paolantonio's wisdom is when the Eagles parted ways with Andy Reid Paolantonio went on to say, "Who thinks that Reid will go somewhere else and win?" I thought that was just ludicrous even for Paolantonio and then he embraced the Kelly hiring calling Lurie's thinking being "Out of the box." thinking and genuflected every time he spoke about Kelly until the day the music died.

Now not only is Kelly off to Shaky Town, but the Eagles have hired one of Reid's Chief Lieutenants in Doug Pederson. Not communicating that it's a good hire or bad, but the Eagles are trying to go back to the future and their media pundits need to illustrate that.

OK. IDK why you're talking about Cleveland fans. I never mentioned them.

You believe what you want, I think Bengal and Raven fans are just as annoying and delusional with shitchicken fans.

Simple, answer the title question and state why you think so.

For me, it's super easy: Dallas Cowboys

Living in Texas and with a family who are DIE HARD Cowboy fans, I've been exposed to their crazy delusions year in and year out. Each and every year I hear Cowboy fans (including my own family members) talking about their guaranteed trip to the Superbowl. And what's worse is that they're SERIOUS about it! But don't you dare point out to them that they've only had 2 playoff wins in the last 15 years. If you say anything critical of the Cowboys, you're an automatic "hater."

Being a Rams fan isn't easy here. On Sundays, I've had crap talked to me about my beloved Rams by douche bags wearing their Felix Jones or Terence Newman jerseys. C'mon fellas, I can't take you seriously if you haven't updated your jersey in years. :ROFLMAO:

I could go on and on about the crazy crap I hear from Cowboy fans but it almost makes me bang my head on my desk here just thinking about it.
Yeah I live in Cowturd country to and deal with this bs all year to bro so don't worry your not the only one that deals with their delusions of grandeur.

In all honestly I'd have to say the most delusional fan base would be:

1a. Cowboys
1b. Patriots
Very close second
Seattle

It's not easy being a Rams fan in Seattle either. They wear their seahawk crap in friday's for "blue friday" one of my co workers was wearing a Kam Chanslor jersey, giving me crap about the Rams. So I asked him what position does Chanslor play. He did not know. They decorated my desk with seahawk crap when I was gone for a afternoon the week before the super bowl last year. When the seahawks win people in the area set off fireworks like it's the 4th of July. After they Vikings gave them their playoff when, there was a group of about 30 people walking around the neighborhood, yelling, cheering, shouting about how great the seahawks are. So I would say seahawk fans are the most delusional.

Because you're a Steelers fan. As an unbiased observer, the Steelers are the most delusional fan-base in the AFC North. That's my opinion. It's not personal.

Why am I talking about Cleveland fans? Because they throw things. You were using the Bengals fans throwing things as an example of them being delusional. But that doesn't really show that fans are delusional. Just crazy.

No I just said Bengals fans' reactions in the playoff game are them in a nutshell. And that throwing things at injured players is worse than ref calls (talking about fan reaction).

Think what you want, don't know why you want to argue. My opinion is just as valid.

Yea bad calls or no calls went both ways. Ummm, AJ Greens touchdown catch he FALSE STARTED on, and it wasnt called. That one would have cost the Bungles 7.

http://www.steelersdepot.com/2016/0...een-false-start-on-final-td-against-steelers/

If an OL did the same thing in the video above, instant flag.....he gets away with it and gets points because the sideline official wasnt paying attention. And Im not condoning what Porter did, but the Bengals lost their cool too. When Bernard was hurt there were something like nine Bengals coaches out on the field. Where is the outrage?????? And Burfict was fined 70k for trying to take out Ben and diving at his ankles, he rode down Bell from behind and ended his season, then put Brown out too. The guy is Bill Romanowski 2.0 and an utter piece of trash who tries to injure other players, the guy is such a piece of shiiiite he tried to hurt Matt Barkley in a high school game when they were both committed to USC.

Im a fan of both the Rams and Steelers teams, and yea, there are your fair share of idiots in every fanbase. I come from a huge Steelers family (I chose the Rams as MY team btw), and every person I know but one crazy friend (who is delusional that the Steelers should win a SB every year and even admits he is unrealistic), all feel very blessed to have seen success in their lifetimes and would be content for life. I actually feel bad for fans of teams who have never won a SB, well, not so much Browns fans ....but even then I think everyone who loves this great game should see their team win one once in their lifetime.

Because they didn't go over to the Steelers players and start talking trash. Plus, there was a fight where the benches started to clear. I have no issues with coaches going on the field to break up skirmishes or talk to their own players. But going onto the field to start an altercation with opposing players should be a personal foul every time.

Bad calls did go both ways. But the Steelers got a bad call at the most important point of the game that took a game in doubt and basically handed it to them on a silver platter.

As for Burfict, he's a dirty piece of crap. Even Bengals fans admit that.

I know, Im just saying the Bengal fans saying Porter should have been flagged because of some rule he wasnt a coach who was supposed to be out there....well that applies both ways. And some Bengals player chest thumped Porter too. That said I dont excuse him talking trash and should have not been there but the sad part was seeing some stupid things by both teams on a few plays which overshadowed some really good physical football for the majority of the game.

And if we're going to prognosticate what ifs, I can just as easily make the argument that if Greens TD is wiped off the board, Pittsburgh is likely never in the situation where the Porter thing would have mattered or even happened and who knows how all of those plays affect the outcome. Steelers kicker was money and could have possibly made a longer kick anyways. The officials sucked in every area that game for both teams.
I can say as a Steelers fan too as nasty as our battles were vs Baltimore I have a great respect for their team and fans. It was all football related trash talk and some great great football, but never have I seen stuff thrown at players (injured ones at that) since the old Dawg Pound days and beer bottles being chucked at officials and players in that old Browns-Jags game. Even when guys got hurt and there was trash talk like when Ray Lewis put Mendenhall out for the season it was a legal hit. Lewis has taken all these assclowns like Burfict and Pacman and is reaping what he sowed.

Now as for my submission its echoing people here.

Patriot fans are the worst. You had a sports city who went a long long time without success in most of its sports suddenly have all of it at once (Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots all being good at the same time) and it created the most obnoxious monstrosity of sports fan out there. Their casual dismissal of spygate and its impact on their Super Bowl wins is hate worthy enough on its own...they should all be asterisked. Same with every time Pittsburgh (other teams have complained as well) plays there the headsets magically stop working until officials check into it. Then you add in deflategate. I wish the Rams played them twice a year so I could see Donald break Brady in half while he whines to the officials.

I despise that team and its fans, they could find documents finding the Patriots paid off officials and the Patriot fans would (and you know they would) make excuses for it and say they would have won anyway. Freak that fanbase.
