Honestly with run dominant teams like Philly, Detroit, Baltimore for example…I believe the best gameplan and deterrent is a fast start on offense and get a lead. Force their QB’s to make things happen and unleash your pass rush.

Tying to crowd your front seven with run stoppers isn’t the answer.
Yep this is how you beat Philly. You jump up on them 17-3 and get them out of their comfort zone. Because if they have a lead in the 2H they are just gonna take the air out of the football.

Or if that doesn't occur, you better he able to slow down the run game so they can't take the air out of the football.

no linebacker is stopping Barkley.

If they are strong enough they aren't fast enough - if they have the speed they won't have the strength.

You have to stop Barkley at the 1st level - once he gets to the back 7 it's trouble.

LBs being able to shed blocks, hit the gaps....that is a huge aspect of run defense.

Also, first drive of the Super Bowl - the Eagles hit Barkley in the flat and Bolton made a one on one tackle. It can be done.

Back in my day our strategy was to score more points then the opponent.

But that might be a bit outdated.

No real holes at this point in the offseason. Not to say they can’t upgrade a few positions.. but the floor is pretty high now.

In Bill Belechik's day, it was the cheat and film the other teams so you can gain an incredible edge. I find it humorous that cheater players say they knew nothing about the filming, as if Bill was going to tell them all and show them the cheating videos.
