Who really knows? No way to prove anything one way or the other. Honestly, not sure why anyone should really care anymore, the pick is done and can't be changed lol
Well, that's the point. Why would we need to prove? There's been plenty of chatter out there about other teams interest in Simpson which cements why the Rams took him when they did. Why wouldnt a fan enjoy being re-assured of this?

Chatter is well chatter, not concrete anything. Honestly I think fans should simply be happy they picked the guy they liked. For example, if the Rams somehow got Tyson, whom I was a big fan of, I wouldn't care or enjoy any extra stories supporting it that much more. I'd simply be stoked we got a player I really liked. It just might be how I am though too lol.....to each their own at the end of the day

But the advantage with Simpson is there will be no need to try to teach him mechanics or the basics. He's got that stuff down, just a matter of whether he can adjust to the speed of the NFL and master his production under pressure.

One area where you won't have any problem with him is getting him to do film study. After watching him with Gruden and Chase Daniel, I think Simpson is addicted to football (instead of Call of Duty like a former NFCW QB), and has some of the same mental traits as his head coach. That can only mean good things.
I guess not. So I've been informed. But it sounds like he was leaning towards retirement with McVay talking about needing to change his mind. At any rate, he's not an option for the Rams right now.
In a potential interesting turn of events, it appears that Sorsby might enter into the supplemental draft. Interested to see folks thoughts on him. Wonder how high of a claim we might have put on him had we not drafted Simpson? He's a very toolsy prospect.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Simpson guy and think it was a pretty wise pick (my heart wanted Lemon but I'll live), but, had we taken Lemon and could grab Sorsby for a '27 2nd?

I think Sorsby needs work but definitely like the tools. Handles pressure well.

I hope all Rams fans would do that. It sure didn't seem the case back in the Bradford days. But that was mostly the Post Dispatch forum. People were actually rooting for Bradford to fail. In the end they got their wish. But that has to be a miserable way to be a fan. It doesn't matter how I feel about any pick, trade or signing. If someone is a Ram I'm rooting for them to succeed.
