The draft speculation is all fun, but I do chuckle a lot reading "Fans" explaining what is what with NFL teams and players.......lol!
If McVay drafts Ty Simpson, that is all I will need and if he doesn't I trust that too. The last thing I would trust........just after the media, would be fans take.

My thoughts on here. I might push the button @ the 3rd #93, but I would not be jumping to do it.
I would prefer to be looking for the 2nd coming of Cooper Kupp myself in the 3rd rd.
I would make, every attempt to keep #9 a Ram the next 3 seasons.
I would make Jimmy G a good offer $$ to hold off retirement till next yr.
I would be working the butt off of Stetson Bennett with all the offensive teams in camp.

Exactly. Beck has proven nothing except that he throws a ton of picks with a poor arm and decision-making and blames it all on his O-line, his receivers, his defense, the coaching staff, etc., all the way from his Georgia days. Carson Beck has never outright said that he is the reason and that the buck starts and stops with him.
Plus, the whole "sulking on the sidelines" stuff during the Indiana championship game and going into the locker room instead of congratulating Mendoza or any Indiana player when most of his team did really stuck in my craw. Guy proved what he is then: a whiny sore loser who blames everyone and anyone except himself for his shortcomings.
To put it bluntly, I could justify any other pick the Rams make and talk myself into it...except with Beck.

If Simpson doesn't go by the middle of the 1st, I'll hold my breath for him to say he was wrong.
What matters is how Simpson plays in the NFL. If he can end up a good starter, then he would have been worth that first round pick.
The other guy is QB guru Jordan Palmer I believe? He agreed. He says Simpson's super power trait is between the ears. He said something to the effect that everyone looks for the big fast guy with a cannon arm, but if that guy can't process the play between his ears, then none of that matters.

Agree. The QBs that stick around the longest are those that live and breathe football. Stafford is one of those. Health permitting, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen.

I figure the Steelers are where Simpson goes off the board. Their need is strong at QB so whether one thinks he's a reach there or not doesn't really matter. They need someone to take that job in 2026. Supply vs demand is a real thing with this position. Also if you believe in one of them, then don't fuck around.
