What's going to happen when the Rams win the Lombardi this year? How many in the media, and among the fans are going to say "I had no doubts".

My brothers and sister fans....it wasn't so long ago we wished for the pain to end....remember those days? Seasons of endless frustration with no end in sight? All I can say is it's time to chill and enjoy the ride. We are in December and the team is still in contention. We still have something to hope for. There was a time that in December was when all we could do was talk about next year.

Yeah the bad old 90's a decade of frustration and futility. Then again from 2004 through 2016, more misery, right? How things have changed haven't they. We have come to expect more, often times forgetting what it took and how long it took to get here. This team is on the right track. Starting next year we aren't going to be seeing a whole lot of high priced over the hill vets to plug holes. Next year this team will be drafting for depth, and sustainability.

Oh yeah I'm enjoying this ride.

I thought the Ravens game could propel us into some playoff momentum. I was hyped going into that one.

Beating Seattle has the potential for similar juice. Hot teams win in the playoffs, so we set things up nicely if we can pull this off...

:D

If... Ahem!... WHEN the Rams get into the playoffs, I think they will be in a better position than gliding along and sand bagging the last game... I think that resting has some odd, detrimental affect... I think playing hard keeps the focus...

I would think if the Rams win these last 4 games to get into the playoffs, they will have to be considered a favorite to win the NFC, wild card entry or not.

The Rams have a top 5 (or better) NFL roster. They are also a top 5 (or worse) NFL team with an identify crisis. Their only consistency is at least one phase of their game has been inconsistent in just about every game (save the NO and AZ games). At this point, I am happy their games still count and they "could" go on a run. I am looking for them to solidify their identity (offensive pass protection, offensive run game, defensive run defense, red zone masters, etc.) in the remainder of this season.

This team will get as far as their o-line will get them. But they are getting better. Just remember, they had the second best record last year and they lost in the SB because of real issues in that so called great o-line. IMO this team in some ways can become more resilient than last years. Step one is to win out and get into the playoffs. Step two will be to make all those teams ahead of them rue the day that the Rams made the cut. Step 3 is to bring that Lombardi home.

Agreed. If you can't enjoy being 7-5 and in the mix you probably shouldn't be a fan of any team but the Patriots.

We are indeed in the mix and I'm not only enjoying it but feel like this season's problems will be fixed this offseason. We are in good hands.
